I don't know why their isn't a law that states all ticketed events require names to be printed on tickets, simple

Just don't panic with this one, there will be shitloads of tickets available for resale at low prices soon enough.

The views will be pretty piss poor unless you shell out a bomb. Stadium fights always have crap views, however, the atmosphere could we be something special if it sells out properly.

Just been told my wife picked up a couple of tickets for me for my birthday, which is rather nice of her. Most importantly, she paid face value.

Mimmy, that screen was coming up for everyone but apparently nobody was getting through to confirm those tickets and the pages were spinning out. Seems like an absolute shambles of a website that is set up for touting rather than mass volume sales.

From what i can gather, they hadn't changed the format so essentially that screenshot you have is allocating you tickets and then you have to click through and confirm them. The problem is that as they are 'unallocated', a shed load of people were seeing those as available and then clicking through at the same time causing it to crash. When someone is flogging the tickets for 5 times face value, i guess you don't get those issues.

God knows how my wife put up with that

I'm guessing a pair of binoculars comes in handy with those tickets.

What will happen to matchroom fights if the CMA investigation finds fraud and ends up banning the practice of moving tickets to online touting sites before actual sale? It will happen eventually.

Can't be fucked with all the clamour for tickets and overpaying greedy cúnts for crap seats. Sitting next to pished idiots and listening to their crap! I'd much prefer to watch on tv with a slab of beer and a takeaway in my own home. Few mates over maybe.

I like attending a fight every now and then as a treat depending on who it is but most of the time I prefer watching on tv to be honest.

It's crazy how popular Joshua is. After the Molina fight, my Facebook feed was flooded by people who never watch boxing all sharing clips of the knockout and saying how amazing he is. Half of those were girls. People in work are already doing my head in, loads of them have been trying to get tickets for this - they've genuinely never even heard of Klitschko before, they just know it's a big fight and want to say they were there :witzend:

I'm not a perfect person but I think I know what's right and wrong but matchroom giving tickets straight to stubhub is morally and ethically wrong against the general public. Greed is ruining the world and this crowd do put on a good show but also rob the general public

It's annoying but it's good for boxing.

He'll be a megastar if A) his career goes to plan or if B) he starts hiring £400k motors to take instagram photos of in and around, and grows a douchebeard or flashes wads of notes, Floyd McGregor styleeee. Bang on point.

Will it really do 80000 or will the touts catch a cold on this one ? Absolutely no bad blood like Froch v Groves 2 or comic WWE like Bellew v Haye so will be interesting to see what it does.

Yeah, be good to watch with a few people on a big screen. Used to have a projector that I'd roll out for big fights, but the bulb went and cost a bomb to replace.

That's what I'll be doing. The PPV, a few bottles and an Indian won't set me back much more than £40. That would just about cover my train ticket to Wembley and back! For a good seat, few drinks and other things etc, you can easily end up £400 lighter.

The ticket prices are an insult.

The beauty of having so much time from now until the event is, they still have enough time to sell it how they like. If tickets don't move quickly, I expect to hear stories from training camps where Joshua/Wlad felt disrespected by the other etc etc
