I like attending a fight every now and then as a treat depending on who it is but most of the time I prefer watching on tv to be honest.

Yeah, be good to watch with a few people on a big screen. Used to have a projector that I'd roll out for big fights, but the bulb went and cost a bomb to replace.

A mate of mine had one of them years ago. It was pretty good at night but during the day it was useless! Could barely see a thing!

That's what I'll be doing. The PPV, a few bottles and an Indian won't set me back much more than £40. That would just about cover my train ticket to Wembley and back! For a good seat, few drinks and other things etc, you can easily end up £400 lighter.

Most ticket prices nowadays are a joke that's why I don't attend as many fights as I used to. I'd much prefer to watch on tv. A trip to London for a fight would definitely cost in excess of 600 quid for me personally. Ticket, flights/train, hotel, travel to event, drinks, food etc..... I could pay off the majority of the bill for a family holiday for that amount so I just couldn't justify attending.

I enjoy the odd Frampton fight in Belfast but not sure when he'll be back over that way next. Just have to pin my hopes on Josh Taylor bringing some big fights over this neck of the woods!

Apparently you just turn up with your credit card and they do it all through that. He had to give the names of the people he was taking and they had to bring ID to recieve their tickets.

It's crazy how popular Joshua is. After the Molina fight, my Facebook feed was flooded by people who never watch boxing all sharing clips of the knockout and saying how amazing he is. Half of those were girls. People in work are already doing my head in, loads of them have been trying to get tickets for this - they've genuinely never even heard of Klitschko before, they just know it's a big fight and want to say they were there

That's good for boxing though surely?

I dunno. I suppose it's good for boxing in terms of a one-off event being successful, but I'm not sure it has much of an effect on the sport as a whole. It's the same people who went mad for Froch-Groves 2 or Mayweather-Pacquiao - they are only interested in huge events, so it has very little knock-on effect on smaller shows as they don't even know they take place.

Anyway, I'm not saying it's a bad thing that Joshua is so popular with the casuals (actually, most of the people I'm talking about couldn't even be called casuals - they have literally zero interest in boxing outside of AJ), it's just interesting how it's happened.

I used to go to a ton of boxing when i lived in a civilised part of the world, now in Cornwall it is a pain in the arse to et anywhere and with children commitments as a single dad, stopped going. But now they are getting older, I am trying to go again. Got some Brook v GGG ones (£80 face value for £220) and now today, tried to get four £200 tickets and it kept crashing as people have said. Tried for an hour but it just kept failing for me and my three friends who were trying on their own PC's.

Now I see those same tickets, in block K, are up for grabs for £750.

This is outrageous. Having been out of the loop for years, I am shocked to find what a pisstake it now is to get tickets. Even face value ones at a box office have the bloody booking fee con attached, but now I find out that it is suspected boxing promoters lie that a venue is sold out but actually pass the tickets to secondary sellers. Why is this not illegal? It is ticket touting surely

This sale should be investigated by the select committee as a minimum. It is the perfect storm for what's happening. Relationship built up with promoters through selling first release tickets on the secondary market.

They've now tried to legitimise this by giving all the tickets to stubhub to sell on the primary market but apparently a lot of people with high activity have got the tickets and are already reselling.

I've heard 51,000 have gone so far. Not sure how true it is

Another fornicating scam is the " Matchroom Fight Pass " . I mean what a fornicating joke, £30 a year for what exactly....... My mate has one and could only buy £40 tickets as the rest had gone in double quick time.

So he pays £30 for the great privilege of getting his hands on upper tier row 28 for face value, the jammy bastardd.

i'll hang about to nearer fight week to decide if i want to go for the atmosphere. You will get a ticket on game day no doubt. You may pay 100 quid for a bad seat but you will get the atmos and a big screen.
it'll prob be the undercard that makes me decide whether i attend or not.

The amount available is definitely sealer but that's due tk clubs taking early guaranteed cask through season ticket sales. Remarkable UK can be shkcmnkgk for the big games though. A single seat in the Celtic end for the Rangers match next weekend could set you back £313!!!

Yeah I did that for Muse last year just had your card you paid with scanned. Great idea.

It was when they did a tour of small venues so with them being a stadium band it sold out instantly and I was very fortunate to get in. If those tickets went on normal sale touts would have snapped them and sold them for about 5 times the value easy.

Matchroom do this with all sports. Was the same with the darts. All table seats for the whole tournament at the Ally Pally sold out within an hour and then on Stubhub for 3 times the price. Their presence is bloody awful for sports fans.

Agreed on ticket pricing and I hate fights in stadiums as unless you pay about a grand the view is crap.

Where can I buy tickets?

The first period of ticket sales commenced at midday on Friday December 16 to Club Wembley members.

Tickets go on sale at midday TODAY, priced at £40, £60, £80, £100, £150, £200, £400, £800 and £2,000 VIP plus booking fees.

You can purchase them from that time here.

A second batch will go on sale on Monday January 16th.
