This Barros any good ?

Selbys career has been a joke this year.

Ok someone is going to say Warrington ducked him etc etc but still his "promoter" didn't do anything for him when that didn't happen.

But there is another featherweight who again had a joke year Gary Russell Jr who also hasn't fought for a similar amount of time.

Russell called him out after the fight and Sleby was in the studio and was up for it.

So that fight should have been happening and both have done NOTHING since April.

Who is Selby's promoter? Is it Eddie?

We know that Warrington ducked him but if Eddie couldn't get him another fight after that then he has taken his eye of the ball. Selby beats Warrington and quigg for me.

Al Haymon. Eddie doesn't have much involvement other than UK TV any more, same as Degale.

Selby wins wide
Barros Vs Hosono was a fun fight but showed the limits of both men

Agree as long as Selby is motivated.

If both perform at their best Selby wins a wide UD. He has to many off nights though and this could be closer on the cards than necessary.

Excellent card :TU: I'll definitely be staying up for it. I was in two minds wether or not to head to Belfast and find an all night boozer for the fight!

Looking to set up Frampton vs Selby maybe? Heard Frampton mention doing it at Windsor Park in the summer. Selby needs a big fight, talented boxer but stagnating badly.

Selby Hearn free after this one.

Hopefully he can get more fights.

Wouldn't be surprised if he signs short term for Cyclone. Makes sense.

That would be good fight. And imagine if Carl won it. How many 2weight unified undefeated champions have we had apart from calzaghe

To think some people were happy to pay 18 quid for Joshua-Molina. Embarrassing when you put it against a card like this.

Hearn makes British title fighta ppv with no world titles in sight. Imagine if he was promoting this. He would double the the ppv price. I am waiting for him to come out and try to take credit for putting this card together like he tryed to for fury v klit until Peter fury basically outed him as a lair/bull shitter

Would have been better about five years ago when Barros was a legitimate albeit fringe title contender, but he's a better opponent than Selby's last two. Would be nice to see him in the mix against the big boys.
