Pre-bout ratings count.

Walters dropped by 450/2-139=86 points down to 364 points at super featherweight. His best opponent's pre-bout rating was 148 points at featherweight Miguel Marriaga from 2015-06-13. This is equivalent to 139 points at super featherweight.

Pre-bout ratings count.

Walters dropped by 450/2-139=86 points down to 364 points at super featherweight. His best opponent's pre-bout rating was 148 points at featherweight Miguel Marriaga from 2015-06-13. This is equivalent to 139 points at super featherweight.[/quote]

why 139 points???
why Miguel marriaga ???
At the time after the battle, more the rating was at Sosa 250. fair shield rating opponents are after the fight or before the fight.
Because as it turns out Adonis Stevenson (And then - based on the then best opponent from 2013-11-30 Bellew with 367 points, Stevenson lost -367 780/2 = 23 points down to 757 points.) and Nicholas Walters is paid out once a rating on different criteria ????

Perhaps it would be better to use pre-bout or after-bout opponent points, whatever is higher. Interesting.

if you count from Carlos Tacoma for Povetkin following withdrawal of the rating 25.04.2016. Best after Carlos takama was Michael Perez because 565/2-173= 109,5. 565-109,5= 455 points. But not 380 points.

So Povetkin then lost 565/2 - 98 = 184.5 points down to 380 points.

if sschitat from Marco Huck last opponent has Povetkin who after the fight was 50+ reytinng the removal happened 08/26/2013; following the removal of points in the period 27.02.2015 lutshe was Carlos Takama 512 / 2-231 = 25 points which for some reason have not removed ??? 08/28/2016 next sem s top was Michael Perez 565 / 2-173 = -109.5 and of 565-110 = 455 points but 380 ??????

Yes, there is a bug :TU:

The win against Takam from 2014-10-24 got out of scope on about 2016-04-24. After this Povetkin's best bout was against Perez with 209 points from 2015-05-22.
So Povetkin then lost 565/2 - 209 = 282 - 209 = 73 points down to 492 points.

The win against Perez from 2015-05-22 got out of scope on about 2016-11-22. After this Povetkin's best bout was against Wach with 98 points.
So Povetkin then lost 492/2 - 98 = 246 - 98 = 148 points down to 344 points.

So Povetkin should be some 30 to 40 points lower now ...

no I disagree with you. : the first decline points period 27.02.2015 lutshe was Carlos Takama 512 / 2-231 = 25 points and 512-25= 487поинтов. second 08/28/2016 next sem's top was Michael Perez (565-25) / 2-173 = -97 points and 540-97= 443 points is less than 8 points and not 30 or 40 points ??????????

Povetkin's rating of 512 points at this time was covered by his win against Takam with 341 points.

Martin you wrote earlier that taken into account the rating of the defeated opposition after the fight not before the fight.

Confirmation of my words your post 21 Nov 2016, 16:35.

But duzenli for Povetkin to take the point otset fight with Carlos takama 2014-10-24 that following the downgrade 2016-04-25. In this zone, beaten the best opposition Michael Perez . it turns out that with a rating of Povetkina : 565/2-173= 109,5.

because the rating Povetkin 565-109,5= 455 points and not 380 points.?????

With which side do not come anyway from Povetkin rating low ??????????????????????

1) ... but you neglect, that Perez' rating was out of scope on 2016-11-22. So the next reduction has to be on 2016-11-22 ... covered by Wach's rating of 98 points only.

2) I am just fixing this bug in my program

3) I will additionally use the the best opponent rating of both, before or after the bout

on 2016-11-22 should not be a reduction in the rating of Povetkin.

here zone abbreviations :
2012-02-25...2013-08-26 Povetkin vs Marco Huck 463-305 after the battle;
2013-08-26... 2015-02-27 with best Carlos takama 512-231 after the battle ;
2015-02-27...2016-08-28 with best Michael Perez 565-173 after the fight.

Where did you find the date 2016-11-22 ????????????

The highest rating within 18 months is considered.

If this rating does not cover the rating:
- the rating is reduced to rating_red = rating/2 + rating_best_opp
- the rating_best_opp is increased to rating_best_opp = rating_red/2

With points for Povetkin (current version):

2012-02-25 Povetkin 463 covered by Marco Huck 310 from 2012-02-25;

2013-08-25 Povetkin 463 not covered by Marco Huck 310 from 2016-02-25 (out)
2013-08-25 Povetkin 469 not covered by Wawrzyk 104 from 2013-06-15 (next best opponent)
2013-08-25 Povetkin 469 reduced to 469/2 + 104 = 338
2013-08-25 Povetkin 338 is now covererd by increased entry for Wawrzyk 119 on original date 2013-06-15

2013-10-05 Povetkin 304 covered by W. Klitschko 1047 from 2013-10-05;

2015-04-05 Povetkin 512 not covered by W. Klitschko 1047 from 2013-10-05 (out)
2015-04-05 Povetkin 512 covered by Takam 341 from 2014-10-24 (next best opponent)

2016-04-24 Povetkin 565 not covered by Takam 341 from 2014-10-24 (out)
2016-04-24 Povetkin 565 not covered by Perez 208 from 2015-05-22 (next best opponent)
2016-04-24 Povetkin 565 reduced to 565/2 + 208 = 490
2016-04-24 Povetkin 490 is now covererd by increased entry for Perez 245 on original date 2015-05-22

This would be the heavyweight ratings old and new:

- correct rating reduction for missing opponent quality
- higher rating used, before bout or after bout

Michael,

Perez bout on 2015-05-22

Wach bout on 2015-11-04

So when Perez got out on 2016-11-22 after 18 months, Wach got in on 2016-11-22 as best opponent.
