Hopkins is full of crap... Boxers certainly used injuries as excuses in the 50's 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's ... Ali went on and on about his broken jaw, his bad hands, his lack of proper rest, the referee, and the judges... Robinson blamed the heat... Duran said he had stomach cramps... Hagler bitched about the officials and Leonard being a media favorite.. Norton bitched like Hell and cried his eyes out... He told everyone he was robbed and also blamed a prospective Ali-Foreman Fight that he said threw the decision to Ali.

Some boxers are good losers.. Some are terrible losers like Hopkins.. The era or the division doesn't matter.
