Klitschko made hard work of his win over Jennings, looked like he couldn't pull the trigger against Fury and wasn't up for laying it on the line. Adding age and the inactivity to those thoughts, it seems easy to pick the young guy who is huge and steamrolling everyone he faces.
In part I've always thought Fury was so outside the box, being so big, so lairy and real in his attitude he appeared to get to Klitschko.
The outcome of that fight was, for me, borne out of Klitschko meeting an opponent whose blend of size and style gave him plenty to think about already; considering the 11 year run he must have harboured at least some thoughts of being on the final stretch of his career, and then he's facing a giant of a man with let's say- an unpredictable personality.
I absolutely buy the idea Wlad is passed the peak but, I'm not 100% that Fury wasn't the reason for that performance. Given that thought, I'm not writing him off entirely.
Joshua's run is impressive regardless of the debate over his oppositon. And I'm not writing him off against anyone based on his current form; he's had everything his own way so far, which is more than enough to show he has something more than most already but, he hasn't had to deal with adversity, hasn't had to find new ways in when Plan A doesn't work. It'll be interesting to see those aspects when the time eventually comes.
He seems respectful and sporting which is much more the kind of opponent Klitschko can get a handle on. Maybe Joshua will plough through a vulnerable looking Klitschko, maybe he'll take punches he's never taken and/or struggle with a movement and experience he's never had to figure out.
Either way, I can't wait to see it and I'll leave any betting until much closer to the time.
Klitschko stands no chance against Joshua

If plan A never fails, plan B isn't needed.. Plan B is a 2nd fiddle plan used in desperation.. If you're getting badly out-boxed attacking like a madman is an option. Jake LaMotta had no chance in Hell of winning a decision over Laurent Dauthuille by the late rounds.. He decided to do nothing for the first 2 minutes of the 15th but rest up, stall around, and save his strength as much as possible.. With less than a minute to go he summoned everything he had and went crazy after the KO ... and got it.. Klitschko's plan B for Fury was trying to make plan A work. He fought a messed up fight.pablothunder wrote: Joshua hasn't had to deal with adversity, hasn't had to find new ways in when Plan A doesn't work. Everybody knows what Klitschko's A plan for Joshua is, including Joshua... Jab, jab, jab, straight right, left hook... Jab, jab, jab, left hook, straight right... Stay on the move, keep Joshua at a distance, and when he gets close grab and hold -- basically the same plan he had for everybody else, including Fury.. Joshua is respectful and a sportsman because he's a good guy.. Guys like Whyte, Martin, and Breazeale thought AJ was soft because he treats everybody well.
He's a very hard and disciplined worker like Wladimir, but he works on everything because he wants to be an all around master. Wlad could have used a body attack and an inside game versus Fury - but after nearly 30 years of being coached for combat sports he doesn't have any such things.

Klitschko will take the biggest beating in his professional career.
Those are facts.¨
How can anyone even root for Klitschko?
Eastern Europe fans hate Floyd and Ward but for some reason they root for this boring robotic wrestling machine against someone like Anthony Joshua.
Those double standars are disgracefull.
Ivan Drago vs Apollo Creed all over again
Facts??? Your effing deluded! Their both stiff robots! Who ever lands first.. Neither have a chin.. I'm backing a hungry klitschko, if he lands early on aj it's game over!
