Lot of twitter talk that we might finally be on the verge of an announcement. Talk of Brook vacating too which makes me think there may be a catch weight involved, 150lbs for Brook? Hearn said they wouldn't do this for Khan so if true they must have Amir's signature guaranteeing the fight to do this surely,

Hope it's true, after GGG, (although in the end he took a shellacking) I think he has the cahones and the chin to run through Khan. Can't write Khan off though, if he's in shape it's anybodies guess, and more thank likely depends on whether Amir hangs his chin in the air as he has done prior.

Hopefully a brook Khan double bill against solid fighters in March then late May early June they fight each other. I would still place this fight behind haye v bellend and aj v wlad

Sensible move if Brook drops the belt to fight Khan (despite all the claims from Eddie that the belt meant 'everything' to his career). Spence is very dangerous and best avoided, and Khan is a far easier fight for a much bigger payday.

Perhaps he's starting to realise what people have been saying for a while now, you don't need a world title to be in big fights

Past caring to be honest. Khan-Brook is a good fight. The GGG fight was fun. Beating porter on the road to win the title. Brook will never go down as an ATG, but his career will not be defined by "worst run of defences ever" but by some decent opponents and having earnt a bit of wedge.

If he can make 147 again then why would he drop it? Khan would want the belt, wouldn't he? But I don't think he can so just vacate already. Would Brook even fight again if he won this?

1) I don't think its a good fight - I think Brook woops him very easily (khan winning rounds till Brook walks through him after 5 rounds)
2) I thought GGG fight was crap - he did ok for a while then his corner pulled him out first sign of trouble (I predicted the exact ending of this fight ie round/towel)
3) Brook imo has still only been in 1 50/50 fight
4) I want to see him fight some more 50/50 fights and win
5) I fully agree with Brook for vacating and fighting Khan from his point of view

This fight loses so much appeal above 147. Khan is so limited above Welterweight. It's only a close fight at welter. Anything above and Brook walks through him.

Khan has timed it - by accident or design - just as Brook has to defend versus Errol Spence.

If Brook vacates to fight Khan he will be criticised by many, and if there's no title on the line there is a chance Khan won't accept the fight, as I see it.

Khan is probably just talking then will go for another fight, as happened last time. This has Hatton v Witter all over and my cynicism is so deep I'll be very surprised if it happens and I'll probably not get excited until the week of the fight, so fed up am I of this Internet and social media "rivalry".

Shame, given how well his countryman Crawford performed vs Ricky Burns.

And a shame, given how a few of our fighters have gone over there to win, Brook with Porter, Degale with Darrell, McDonnell with Kameda twice, in the difficult fights.

Spence probably feels that he will not get a decision against the house fighter on a matchroom show unless he knocks Brook down multiple times or KO's, both of which are unlikely as Brook is pretty tough. You can understand that to a degree considering some recent scorecards.

And that still doesn't mean he gets a pass. Show some balls and get over here. The UK's where it's at.
