Brook sends Khan into retirement if it ever happens.

Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
depends really how good is kell going to look coming back down to welterweight, hows Khan going to be after his ko and hand surgery than you factor performances if khan can fight as or more disciplined as in the Alexander fight. my head says Brook by ko with khan ahead on points but its a real close fight I think
Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Brook gets retired by corner when his eye gets busted up again
Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
I think the way Brook took some good shots off GGG will give him the confidence to be even more aggressive than he would have been against Amir. Khan wins the first few rounds with his speed but Brook's timing, accuracy and power tells in the mid rounds. Brook KO7.

One of them is abroad in a training camp, the other is abroad doing charity dinners for his foundation.
The "eye of the tiger" wins every time.

Khan wins for me. Too fast, too savvy.
Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Khan isn't very savvy....certainly no more than Brook

I'd be surprised if that happenend.littlepug wrote:Brook gets retired by corner when his eye gets busted up again
Amir Khan is not a great puncher: he's insanely quick & he thinks he's more powerful than he actually is, but he does not have that bone crunching power that Golovkin has.

i know i just think once that part of your face has been bust up it doesnt take much to repeat the injurySyntax Error wrote:I'd be surprised if that happenend.littlepug wrote:Brook gets retired by corner when his eye gets busted up again

Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Savvy isn't a word I'd use to describe Amir Keith. Definitely has the speed to cause Kell problems but Brook has very good accuracy and power. I think Khans only hope would be to frustrate Brook and tie him up but Brook is probably the stronger of the two. The fights lost some of its appeal but I'd still like to see it.keithmoonhangover wrote:Khan wins for me. Too fast, too savvy.

I agree. Khan has a chance at 147.dan28uk wrote:depends really how good is kell going to look coming back down to welterweight, hows Khan going to be after his ko and hand surgery than you factor performances if khan can fight as or more disciplined as in the Alexander fight. my head says Brook by ko with khan ahead on points but its a real close fight I think
Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Brook by KO, probably having to come from behind due to Khan's faster feet.
Khan will try to be faster than he really is, burning up too much energy, fading and getting brutally blasted out.
Brook will plod a bit, especially early, as he does fight flat footed and will be tight at 147.

Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Khan is extremely fast, but much slower fighters have timed and beaten him. Overall I think Brook has a more complete package, which includes very good accuracy, and I x4 on him stopping Khan.
Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Bro
Of course he will, he always would. That's why Brook always wanted the fight. Brook has avoided genuine challenges at welterweight while he's waited out a fight with Khan. Don't let his pointless excursion to middleweight distract you, his career has been about a pay day with Khan. He stagnated at WW fighting nobodies when he could have been fighting the top welterweights and he didn't.crusader wrote:Khan is extremely fast, but much slower fighters have timed and beaten him. Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Some truth but let's not forget a) he's injury prone and b) the IBF had some rubbish mandatories. That's led to a long and frustrating time. Also, when you beat a Haymon fighter like Brook did with Porter they don't seem to want you back. It's a mixture of factors but I agreed about the "pointless excursion to middleweight", bad choice of fight, appalling strategy of waiting for Golovkin to come to him, then fighting in the last 45 seconds of rounds when Golovkin's tired but Brook already accumulating damage, wrong attitude ("hey, I'm the bigger man").
Damn shame he was injured for the Argentinian Diego Chaves and not for, say, Frankie Gavin admittedly. And damn shame the Golovkin fight prevented a genuine 147 fight, Jessie Vargas, instead of a pointless one, like, say, the Canadian (I was at the fight and so forgettable was he I've forgotten his name) or Yonut from Romania.

Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
Khan is extrordinarily fast, p4p as quick as anyone in the game right now, in terms of pure hand speedSwitch hitter wrote:Khan's not as fast as he thinks..... Brook times him and stops him mid rounds
The fact that good boxers have been able to time him and Brook might very well be able to do the same does not detract from that fact
It's like saying because Tyson Fury made him miss a lot Wlad doesn't hit as hard as he thinks
Re: WHO WINS? Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
I think Khan is among the fastest fighters ever at his weight
