Re: Best chin ever?
Eubank Sr took some brutal shots especially up at CW v thompson
Re: Best chin ever?
McCall to my knowledge was never dropped or seriously hurt, and he took flush shots from Lewis like it was nothing. Even well into his 40s he absorbed punches from much younger men without appearing bothered.
Re: Best chin ever?
McCall is always the answer I give.
Ben Tackie had a seriously good chin, and despite the hand wrap saga which undermined his career to a great extent Antonio Margarito was rock solid.

Jane lamotta. Legendary survival vs Sugar ray Robinson. Stopped but on his feet.
Harry Greb. Nearly 250 fights. Only stopped once really when he fought at a bigger weight.
Kid Gavalan. Never stopped. Fought everyone. 140+ fights .

No, just got his face smashed in. Carson Jones hurt him and he was down in his early career, keep off my thread if you can't talk sense.bigB wrote:Kell Brook.

Not shavers, knocked out too many times to be classed as a granite chin.
I'd have McCall, Chuvalo, Toney, Holmes, Basillio, Robinson, Hagler.

Re: Best chin ever?
Wayne McCullough always springs to mind whenever talking about great chins. He was a tough little guy and was in with some big hitters around the lower weight classes.
Vitali Klitschko appeared immovable at times. THAT upercut from Lewis nearly decapitated him and he just took it and came back. Every time I watch it I still can't quite believe it!
Calzaghe also had a great chin. Glenn Johnson probably deserves a mention.

Re: Best chin ever?
In the modern day GGG. I've never once seen him hurt. You can land flush and he just walks on.

Re: Best chin ever?
John Duddy had a sound chin, seen him take serious punishment in fights and never flinch.
