Selby domestically. Skill set is off the richter. He's got the frame and is at a weight-class were he could move up the weight-classes quickly.
Worldwide Daigo Higa. Flyweight knock out artist from Japan. 11 wins 11 KO's at FLYWEIGHT. Unreal.
Other ones I personally like and follow closely.
Ponomarev I've been big on for years. I don't see him as a foregone conclusion for Spence.
Yarde looks super powerful and can be let off the leash a bit more aswell.
Be interesting to see how the Rio brigade do once they turn over. Conlan needs to avoid Wars early on like his brother didn't do.
Joyce will be moved very quickly but Okolie and Buatsi look to have good pro styles.
Shakur Stevenson will be manufactured into a huge star and will end up on some big undercards early.
** Exciting thought. Post Castro Cuba opens up boxing and suddenly there's about 30-50 non Olympic Cubans we haven't heard of who fit the bill. All awkward southpaws probably.
Also be interesting if the Uzbeks follow the Kazakh and Ukrainians and allow some of their boys to turn over.

Got absolutely robbed by the ref in Rio that got lost in a tournament full of robberys.LancashireLoyal wrote:Dmitry Bivol and Jo Jo Diaz
Also saw this morning that Mohammed Rabii has turned pro, probably the olympic boxer most suited to the pros i saw at Rio.very good fighter.
Out of the last 2 WSB cycles he has been by far the most suited to professionals. If he stays on s good path and chooses location, coaches etc correctly he will do well. (Personally I see him being a world champion based in the states eventually).

Ryan Burnett?
Hughie Fury?
Andrew Selby?
Liam Williams?
Josh Taylor?
Errol Spence?
Artur Beterbiev?
Oleksandr Gvozdyk?
Jo Jo Diaz?
Rey Vargas?
Others?
Fury is terrible. I'd go for Selby and Arthur Beterbiev. I think Arthur is going to put some hurt on his division.

Re: Best prospect in British/world boxing.
Having been a huge Tommy Morrison fan im keeping an eye on his son Trey Lippe. Only 13-0 at the moment and a fight due in February but seems to be knocking them out one by one. Some people say hes very raw but ranked in the top 20 in America by Boxrec I hope this lad gives something big in 2017. He's not fought any one of note at present but there are many people sitting up and watching this lad. Those who are watching him are most likely Tommy Morrison fans and want to relive his exciting career through his son.
Luckily we are not in an era of deveratating heavyweights so Trey might produce something speacial in 2017 and get some sort of title shot.

I haven't seen him so difficult to comment but he could do with boxing somebody approaching a winning record before any prospect predictionsStuffs wrote:Don't sleep on Zelfa Barrett, a fantastic prospect.

I saw one of his fights and he was very raw - did he box much as an amateur?mimmy123 wrote:Having been a huge Tommy Morrison fan im keeping an eye on his son Trey Lippe. It was weird, literally everybody in the whole crowd was cheering his name and was holding a placard with his name on it - almost as if the promoter had given everybody free tickets as long as they cheered his name!

Im not sure if he did ive looked around for an amateur record but found nothing. Sure Trey is living off his dads name and being very raw possibly shows he didnt have an amateur record. You cant knock him at this stage though as hes knocking them over. As ive said hes fought nowt special but hopefully we will see what hes got when he stesp up. Im not sure but I think Freddie Roach is training himbripez wrote:I saw one of his fights and he was very raw - did he box much as an amateur?mimmy123 wrote:Having been a huge Tommy Morrison fan im keeping an eye on his son Trey Lippe. That's the only thing, but he's being moved along this year, and the less than stellar opponents he's faced have been made to look as ordinary as they are. He's breezing through them. Ordered now to face Sam Bowen for the English title.bripez wrote:I haven't seen him so difficult to comment but he could do with boxing somebody approaching a winning record before any prospect predictionsStuffs wrote:Don't sleep on Zelfa Barrett, a fantastic prospect.
