Commish Notice

Welcome back gentlemen.

Firstly, you may have noticed that we are trialing a new colour scheme for the Unmatched Fighters list. We have recoloured the Light Middles and moved them to the right hand side of the list.
Hopefully it will make it easier for everyone to keep track which fighters are available for what titles...
If it doesn't prove useful, we can always just scrap it and revert back to our original form, no problem.

Secondly, now that all the belts are settled and have their own holders, I will draw up an eligibility list list in the second post of each official Matchup thread.
It will only include the top 20 - but remember anyone outside of the top 20 can fight for the IBO title, the MGM Grand place and the Light Middleweight title.
So this eligibility list will only really be for the benefit of the 4 World Champions.

Thirdly, The Four World Champions are expected to fight a defense against a top 15 challenger. However, we recognize that over the course of match-making, sometimes viable challengers get tied up.
In which case, we will extend permission to fight a challenger in the top 20 - but no further...
TOP 20 IS THE CUT OFF POINT!!!

Failing to fight a title defense or facing a fighter below 20th may result in being stripped...

All of you have been notified.

Holman calls out Marcel Cerdan (P4P1).
Griffith calls out Light Middleweight champ Floyd Mayweather (BoxBuzz).

Was Ketchel-Quartey an eliminator for the MGM Grand Cup? We'll take the fight with Norris (Fist of Legend) if so. If not Stan calls out Jack Dempsey (Crease).

I want to give Monzon a difficult title defense. Ideally I would've liked to have fought Sugar Ray Robinson - Monzon vs Robinson is a dream fight of mine. But I'll play within the rules and choose someone in the top 15.

I think it could be an interesting experiment if Monzon fought the boiled-down KO king, Archie Moore.

Irish Dempsey calls out Sandro Mazzinghi. Could we make it a 2-man Stable War, Mr Techno?

Seeing how Robinson is just out of the title picture, he will take on Tiger Flowers. Open to other possible offers though.

Duran will take on Maurice Hope. Open to other possible offers.

Steele will see if any title offers come around, if not, best way to defend his IBO belt.

If Robinson gets a win this week & moves in to title contention - I'd be delighted to have Carlos The Monster defend against him.

Floyd offers a shot to Sandro Mazinghi.

Hopkins Calls out Julian Jackson and of course Crease will direct him to run but I'll wait for the response. Probably he'll say he's taking a title shot with some bum. So once Crease folds, Hopkins will pursue Sim Vengeance and face Kelly Pavlik.

Golovkin will face Fernando Vargas

TAke some step aside money, and let Sandro face Floyd.....while you have your other guy run from Hopkins.

Either Hopkins or Dempsey interested in a fight with Emile Griffith?

Tommy Ryan would fight Emile Griffith if neither of them will. Ryan called out Dempsey as well. If Dempsey's ducking the both of us we may as well fight each other.

Even if he enters the ring with Hopkins...there won't be no fight.....Benvenuti will receive an astronomical beating, and a fractured nebula to boot.
