anyone interested in being an "authoriser" for venue requests being made in-game, drop a post in
http://www.eboxingpromoter.com/forum/fo ... t-approval

it will speed up the creation of venues in some of the new regions.

It's free to play, but there is in-game purchase if you want to buy more currency.

I played and still play it. Just joined new game. My promotion was and still is Mr. Vicious. I plan on regular open shows so anyone can contact me with fights, fighting on my shows which are primarily in Ireland. I'm very easy to get one with :bag:

its one day every 2 hours...any faster and there wouldnt be time to do anything before processing kicks in!
i know what you mean though, but I think this is the best I can do for an online game.

you may, however be interested to know that i have started making an offline version which you will be able play as fast or slow as you want. once the online version settles down and i dont have so much work to do on it I'm hoping to crack on with this.

yes, attributes go up/down every month depending on how well they are training. at some point in their career they may become "shot" like if they've taken a few bad beatings and then their stats start to decline. Otherwise, they more or less continue to rise until they are past their peak (early 30s for lower weight classes, late 30s for HWs etc) and then they are considered to be "on the slide" and their stats slowly decrease until they decide to retire

ive noticed that most fighters have 20fights max in the pro's is this because the game has only been running for a short amount of time?

Be sad to leave refuse 2 lose promotions behind on the 6th when rooq finishes.
I would love an offline game and would 100% purchase.
Hope to find time to join your new site when family commitments allow time.
Bloody good job with rooq. Played it from the word go

Taansend Promotions is off & running.

When I say off & running I mean I have no f*cking clue what's going on

I have a stable of 4 fighters. I've assigned them a trainer & I've put in a request for my first show so I suppose I just have to wait now.

 fantastic news.

I personally find that the 2 hours per day can become a it of a challenge once you have a decent number of fighters. I had 80 fighters + across my gyms on Rooq v1 and it became a real struggle if you miss just a day or two (real world).

Yes, it was taking too long to simulate up to 2016 so I released at 2008. The pro part of the game started around 2004 which is why fighters have not had so many fights.

As the deadlines are stretched a but from Rooqs - eg purse bids are 4 weeks instead of 3, title cut offs are 8 weeks before a title fight instead of 11, and eliminator are called 5 months before the due date - I'm hoping the game will be as manageable as the first in terms of staying on top of things. I wouldn't try to manage more than 30 fighters though as there is a bit more of a personal touch required in this game.

Hi Rooq,

The site has been stuck on next processing: Pre show for the last few hours or so, I have no idea what this means though

I played this and found it a little too clunky.

Fantastic concept, and with some more streamlining I'd be on this all day. So much potential.

Design-wise I felt it was a tad basic. I also felt it ran a little too slow. Played for a few hours and still not had any bouts actually happen, which I think it what might put people off. Perhaps be able to accelerate/simulate through until there's some news for your promotional company, such as a bout about to happen, offer to a fighter rejected/accepted etc.

I think on initially joining it's overwhelming to. Perhaps a streamlined intro to the game, such as do this first, then this, then that and so forth so you've done all the basic set up, then you're on your way.

Very much enjoy the idea, and I think it's not tooo far off being a superb game.

its an online game so everyone has to run at the same time (no matter what timezone). so accelerating will not be possible.
i am planning on doing an offline version which players will be able to go at whatever speed they want though.

anytime you see this, go to the home page which gives the status of the game. this morning the processing failed while doing some pre-show activity and thats why it was stuck like that all day (can't do much when i'm at work)
