Except "Algieri beat Provo" doesn't sound right. He got a decision, but he is the one who was actually beaten (vs touched).

Yeah...let's have the fight... It's not exactly Spence vs Brook or Thurman-Garcia, but it beats mismatches like Joshua-Molina... Alvarez-Khan... Golovkin-Wade... Ward-Brand... 'Stevenson-Karpency... Bradley-Rios... Ortiz-Scott... and all the rest of the endless muggings and no-drama -- no-suspense fights we see.

If you don't know who's going to win a fight it's a lot more fun to watch... It's an actual contest - instead of a brutal mugging.

He's gonna lose a decision to Algieri I figure. I like the matchup though. It's a bit of a pick 'em and the winner is either Top 10 or right on the verge of Top 10 again at Welterweight. Probably gets them an opportunity to get beat up by the Thurman/Garcia winner later in the year.

I don't want Berto or Algieri fighting Thurman later in the year... Spence-Thurman makes sense to me... The Algieri-Berto winner can fight Horn or Bradley

There’s a recent video on YouTube where Errol Spence Jr. explains that he wants to fight Kell Brook more than any other fighter in the welterweight division and that Eddie Hearn had asked the IBF for a 60-day extension, resulting in the purse bids for the bout being staged sometime during February.

He explained that his intention was to beat Kell Brook, then face the winner of the Thurman-Garcia bout and finally fight Manny Pacquiao (in that particular order) to unify the WBO, WBC, WBA & IBF world welterweight titles.

He then apologised to the fans for his inactivity, but stated that this was due to him waiting for his IBF world title opportunity against Kell Brook.

Seems like a good guy as well as a special fighter, wish more boxers had his attitude. Hope he gets the big fights and keeps the attitude of wanting to fight the best once he becomes champion.
