Doubt they`ll do 10,000 at that price. Who would pay for that? I want to watch it, but not paying 20 notes.

10,000 would be an extraordinary number. I'd be amazed if they did 1,000.

In response to a comment about how this could have been an opportunity to build his son's profile on ITV for free, Senior wrote:

Is respect the right word, when it comes to hookers?

I keep expecting to come on this site and see "FIGHT CANCELLED/POSTPONED" due to 'injury'.

I just dont understand how it is going ahead.

Less than a month to go, no way it happens. Sky promote their ppv's for a good couple of months

Been told by a source who's usually reliable that ITV pulled the plug and Eubank wanted to make announcement themselves in the next 48 hours.

Not 100% as apparently Eubanks thought they could get another broadcaster which seems highly unlikely.

The sensible thing to do if this is true is switch it ITV and get in shed loads of viewers. They could just say the PPV platform isn't ready and save face. All ive heard is twitter rumours and Eubank snr is denying them. Eubank jr also posted behind the scenes footage of him filming the ITV promo video earlier today.

Regardless what happens it's obvious ITV are the latest to find the Eubanks a nightmare to deal with.

Just realised that video is from late last month. Don't know if that proves that they are a nightmare to deal with but it would show that they have realised that people won't pay £20 for low level fight where the challenger is 100/1 with the bookies and even hardcore fans haven't watched "the champion". It's an undercard fight and everyone who follows boxing knows it.

I can only suspect that ITV werent prepared for the first dollar to drop to the fighter.

What's strange is Eubank Jr could have earned a cool 5 or 6 million maybe even more within two fights if he had faced GGG and then a name like AA or something on a ppv card. Yet instead he may well have earned nothing while living in Dubai for several months - he's going to end up bankrupt if he's not careful.

I dont get any satisfaction from seeing Eubanks career fall apart bit by bit although I am delighted to hear that this shambles may be off. Joke fight to begin with before titles and PPVs were ever mentioned.

Hopefully he gets his old man to fvck and lets someone manage/promote him in a more sensible fashion.

Glad to hear the ppv is likely off, but see no reason why the fight itself shouldnt take place on regular itv.

It's not a particularly exciting fight but Jr needs to get back in the ring even if it is against a sub par opponent getting paid buttons, its better than not fighting at all.

He needs to pull his head out his arse and get a proper manager, if he had stuck with hearn he would likely be training to fight on the AJ/Klit undercard, if he had stuck with Warren he would likely be training for a title fight against BJS on BT first ever Ppv.

I put 100% of the blame on Jr, he is a grown man and needs to start putting his career first, rather than his father's ego.
