If Whyte can rock Joshua, then Tua can knock him out. Tua by KO for me.

Likewise, if Rahman can knock you out, Tua can knock you out, but Lewis dominated him.

Tua could knock anyone out to be fair.

If 2002 Tua landed his left hook, Joshua would get knocked out.

Tua's biggest weakness was his height/reach and had problems with tall heavies. Lennox was a perfect example and I imagine a bout with AJ could have the same outcome if he couldnt connect

I think KO win for AJ in the later rounds, for me Tua is like Povetkin without stamina. Like Briggs but then smaller and a bit better chin.

Tua early or Joshua late or by decision. If we're talking about the fat 245lb Tua who got thoroughly outboxed by Lennox Lewis, then Joshua should win. If we're talking about the 225lb Tua who stopped Ruiz and Rahman, then it's a tough fight to call, because Joshua hasn't been in the ring with anyone who posed that level of threat. I'd still lean towards Joshua at this point.

The both of them are / were excellent punchers, Tua had a great chin, Joshua's chin has not been tested yet. Of course, "size factor" is very important...Nobody knows...

Tua cowardly performance against Lewis is one of the most disgraceful I ever seen. Completely biatched out of that fight. Probably would due same with Joshua.

Tua was very good, the lewis fight is actually a lot closer than many believe, particularly for the first 8 rounds or so. And then there was the brutal war with ibeabuchi, which tua lost, but which apparantly sent ike crazy.

A prime tua would have been a stern test for anybody, he had that granite chin. I could guess tua would win by ko, but we'll have a better idea what joshua is made of after april.

Tua was 5'10" with short arms and Joshua would respect him

Whyte is 6'4" with long arms and Joshua got careless.

Lewis showed how to handle Tua which is stick a jab in his face and smash him with a couple of thunderous shots early to stop him from getting too brave.

Tua was a very good fighter but he was built to trouble the 6'2"-6'3" heavies of his day. The 6'6 250lb guys just have too many physical advantages.

Joshua by UD, Tua has a 15% punchers chance if joshua makes too many mistakes.

The "blueprint" for beating Tua (especially for a guy with AJ's height and reach) is obviously the Lewis fight, however Joshua hasn't been tested in his ability to box off the back foot behind his jab for long periods of time. When comparing him to past fighters, AJ is still all but an unknown quantity, there are still a number of aspects of his game that we don't know about. As of right now I think Tua taking Joshua out early is very possible, as is Joshua winning a decision, albeit a much closer one than Lennox won.

Tua is probably the most overrated puncher in history, actually that's vitali. Rahman was much better than tua. Anyway, he could certainly hurt Joshua. Dangerous fight for aj but I think he wins a Dec, possible stoppage.
