This is incorrect. Please quote Thurmans PPV's buy-rate figures to back-up your claims. In fact, please provide any evidence of casuals clamouring to see Keith Thurman fight. Hard-core fans are a relative drop in the ocean in terms of viewing figures for the sport of boxing.Kalan wrote:Enlightened-One wrote:For example: Floyd Mayweather Jr. was guaranteed a $32m payday to face the very beatable Andre Berto. Horn does not "suck". Not sure why people are saying that when I'm sure they've only watched some highlights at best. I've been following his career for a few years now. If this fight takes place in his home country of Aus, it'll be a hell of a lot more competitive than the Vargas, Algieri and Rios fights. Screenshot this reply.
Re: Pacquiao’s next fight will be outside US – Arum
If What Bob Arum is true about Manny picking his opponents, I would have to say that Manny's selection of opponents recently rivals that of Wilder, and should be criticized for it. Rios, Algieri, Bradley, now Horn? Bradley was good but 3 times knowing he could beat him easily shows he was just afraid to take on some of the other available fighters. Call it what it is folks. For those of you out there that criticize other boxers for cherry picking, don't be a fornicating hypocrite. Floyd cherry picked his last opponent. Pac has cherry picked his last several opponents. It shows that they are no where near on the same level.

Life and death with Bailey? He stopped him in the later rounds and won every round besides the one he got dropped in. Bailey was always a puncher and Horn walked into one. It happens.world ranked wrote:When you go life in death with Randall Bailey and get hurt by Ali Funeka you not very good.Mr. Plainview wrote:Horn does not "suck". Also he stopped Funeka in 7 rounds and only went down after a massive clash of heads. When the ref started counting he had his hands out like wtf you counting for? I'm not saying he's going to win against Pac, but he doesn't suck. He'd beat Vargas and Rios.

Lets talk Bailey and Funeka at the times Horn fought them
Bailey - 42yo who hadnt had a meaningful fight of any substance in 4 years when he lost against Devon Alexander. A Puncher yes, but a faded one at that.
46-8-0 former Super Lightweigut Champ
Funeka - 38yo who started his career as a feathereeigjt and fought Horn Welter one of only 3-4 fights hes had at the weight. Last meaningful fight 6 years ago. Has been operating on the South African domestic scene since his loss over Juan Guzman

All good points. I'm definitely not saying he beats Pac, I was just addressing those who said he "sucks" when from what ive seen, he's got a good skill set.
I'd still be surprised if this fight gets made anyway

Hopefully his next fight will be outside and far away, go away. This Paquaio stuff is nauseating.
