And if there was a scientific, academic survey done on who ripped the shite Michael Shields more, Scousers or non-Scousers - then Scousers would win by a long margin -but when your bluenose mates are doing it, you would have just put that in the 'banter' box, when Wools, Texans, Plazzies and other forms of non-human life do it, you get annoyed.

The other thing is, if Michael Shields had been from Manchester and was arrested in Bulgaria as a Man U fan - you would be singing away as much as everyone else - certainly the majority of Anfield would have done. It's about being honest and not taking offence at everything that you hold dear.
