We will try are best to get home advantage for Scott as always. The fight has to take place before end of July.

Scott is boxing on April 7th in Bristol in an 8 rounder against a European opponent hopefully to be named in next few days.

Still think that Williams is a bit lucky to get a shot after only 1 fight in 15 months, he hasn't beaten anyone of note at Middle, i know he was highly rated at lightMiddle, but shouldn't he have to prove himself in an eliminator first.

I hope Pinder - Buchanan is televised. A good rematch this. I was at Liverpool Olympia for the first one and it was a good scrap. I think Sky only showed a few rounds of it. Shame the attendance was poor for it.

Agree that its a good matchup, but just thought that Williams should prove a bit more at middle before challenging Dann.
At the moment I'd have to favour Dann, I know he wasn't overly impressive in his last fight, but i think that was due to under motivating himself, against Williams he knows he's got a dangerous opponent in front of him.

I'm still not completly sure that Williams has got all his skill and timing back, He's a tough man as he proved in the Samuels and Martinez fights, but hasn't been at his best since the Taylor fight. Plus Dann is a southpaw and Williams really seemed to stuggle the few times i've seen him fight them.

Yes, on form alone Dann will surely start a betting favourite. Didn't think much of Dann's last opponent but Bendall, Jones, Halder and Elcock make an impressive list of scalps, three inside the limit.

Williams looked good last time but will need to improve even more to beat Dann IMO.

Just can't wait for this one.

We will see on the night - but would imagine RW will give it all he has and I hope to see a stoppage win for RW.

Michael Alexander was a southpaw - but that was a 4 round fight years ago.

Andrew Murray (RIP) was a Southpaw - Richard won that well enough.

1st Martiniez fight - MArtinez was a late entry so |I would doubt there was much if any southpaw sparring/.

2nd fight - Martinez showed he is very much World Class and difficult to beat.

Dann is a good fighter - but I think this will be a Williams win in a similar fight to Williams Vs Samuels II.

Absolutely right DG. with regards to Martinez. There was no disgrace losing to him. There's southpaws and there's southpaws. Martinez was superb against Williams and he also showed his worth against Adrian Stone too, who had been in with some of the best in the business. It's not every fight you end up with someone as good as Sergio in front you. Notice Martinez didn't get any more offers to come back to Britain!?

Only Margarito has beaten Martinez..

Dann is busy - but not in th esame league as Martinez - he hits well - but he can be hurt also.

The Williams/Martinez fight was basically like the Eamoun(?) Loughran Vs Lopez fight - no one knew who the hell Lopez was - but it turned ot that even DLH did not want to fight him!

If Barry Hearn had the Internet back then he would NEVER have fiught Lopez!

Martinez loss is nothing to be ashamed of.

Right preparation and the Southpaw stance will not be a big deal.

As ttyou said 0 there are Southpaws ans SOUTHPAWS - Dann is a Southpaw who attacks.
