Tyson Fury has apparently changed his name to Gorga Tys & denounced his gypsy heritage.

I'm assuming this is just to get him some publicity but seriously WTF!

BOXER Tyson Fury – self-titled the Gypsy King – has denounced his heritage and changed his name to “Gorga Tys”.

In a series of tweets this morning, the retired heavyweight claimed he did not have the same beliefs as his culture… with “gorga” slang for someone who is a non-gypsy.

He wrote: “I am no longer being a gypsy. from now on call me Gorga Tys, 2017 new beginning.

“I just feel I’m not a Gypsy, I don’t have the same beliefs as the gypsy culture, I denounce and I am a gypsy any longer.”

He has never tasted defeat as a professional but admitted taking cocaine

The 28-year-old has previously said he believes is not accepted in Britain because of his traveller roots – and has spoken about the online abuse he receives for being part of the community.

Fury said: “It’s been a witch hunt ever since I won that world title, because of my background, because of who I am and what I do.”
