Re: Anthony Yarde
Scarily heavy handed, looks like he could box a bit too but his power is frightening
Re: Anthony Yarde
Looks a great prospect from what I've seen.
Do you think he can stay at light heavy much longer though? He looks enormous.

I'm sure he said on a allegedly interview he doesnt have to try that hard to make the weight and he could even go down to super middleStuffs wrote:Looks a great prospect from what I've seen.

Re: Anthony Yarde
How do you pronounce his name correctly: yar-day or yard?
Re: Anthony Yarde
I want him to start calling himself... Anthony "The Yardie" Yarde - sounds cool

Re: Anthony Yarde
How about Anthony "I'm Hardy" Yarde?
Re: Anthony Yarde
What about Anthony "I'm not lardy" Yarde.
Re: Anthony Yarde
Really interested to see him stepped up against people like Buglion Burton, Callum Johnson that kind of level.
BT need to showcase him this year though.

It's totally fine - did you get on your high-horse about Bernard "Executing" his victims, James Smith crushing bones, Juan Lazcano promoting racial stereotypes and division ? What about Hearns and Hatton glamourising premeditated murder ?
It's just a menacing ring-name and I hope he starts using it.
NB. If Anthony or any of his mates read this..
Please make sure Anthony knows I'm not suggesting he's in any way involved with the Yardies !

At first I read this as, 'Anthony "Tom Hardy" Yarde and thought you were mad.

Yeah it's totally fine, so fine that you put that disclaimer at the end. Mind, wouldn't it be great for boxing if a boxer had a big yardie following?skanksta wrote:Counter-puncher wrote:skanksta wrote:I want him to start calling himself... Quality of opposition has been very poor. Could quite conceivably be another Pele Reid in time.

I think this will probably be the case.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:Quality of opposition has been very poor. Could quite conceivably be another Pele Reid in time.

It's Yard. He is the real deal, seen him closer than most in the gym & his corner, power is superb but the shot selection & accuracy are just as good as is his timing, add to that the fact that he is super professional.
Re: Anthony Yarde
What's his chin like? Does he have full spars with more experienced pros or are they building him up to so he thinks he's unbeatable?frankgreaves wrote:It's Yard. It's good, doesn't get hit often but seen him tagged a few times & he remained unflustered. Some decent sparring too!
Re: Anthony Yarde
He does look the full package depends what weight he says at though.
