Post by ElJefe »

Canelo Alvarez vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has been confirmed for May 6th.

@Canelo
It's official. My next fight will be vs Chavez Jr on May 6th. This is how I operate. Proving myself in the ring and shutting him up.

BREAKING NEWS: Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will fight May 6 (HBO PPV) at a site to be determined, Golden Boy CEO Oscar De La Hoya announced. They'll fight at a catch weight of 164.5 pounds.

Without Canelo Oscar would go bankrupt.
Oscar will not rusk Canelo losing. This is why we won't see him face GGG

Canelo is not the coward. Oscar is

I'd love it if Chavez Jr. kicked Canyellow's ass. Don't really see it happening, but it may be a competitive fight.

Canelo is a coward and this sort of embarrassing stuff is hurting boxing.

No one likes to see fighters who pick their customers and duck people.

Fighters who are in it just for business and pick and choose fights can F off in my opinion. Give a fighter who will get in there with any one what he deserves any day but don't pay some cherry picker big money , joke

The guy is damn near retarded. He is controlled by Oscar and can not and will not rock the boat.
Canelo is Golden Boy Productions.

And I'm not a fan of the guy. But to call a guy who took on a Lara and a Mayweather before Oscar figured out he had no other fighters a coward is crazy.
Canelo would fight anyone. Oscar can't risk the loss.
A loss by Canelo would be financially devastating to Oscar

fighters should have enough bottle to stand up to promoters/managers, whether they are former fighters or not, and say give me proper fights, as I am becoming a laughing stock and an embarrassment, or I will go elsewhere.

A true fighting man would never hide behind his promotional team , they would hint and name drop and push for the fights they want. At least they should anyway . But to many hide behind their "team".

Canelo is one of these people with cowardly traits

Look at all of these idiots criticizing this fight. This is probably going to be the most entertaining fight of the year considering the hatred they have for each other, Mexican pride on the line and their boxing styles are a GREAT match. Both guys have granite chins so this has no other choice but to be a long, bloody, drag out war. I love it. It's great for Boxing. This will be the highest grossing fight of the year when it's all said and done.
