Nevermind... Looks like he offered both guys $25 mil each and Floyd half the PPV. Byut, Foyd laughed at his offer.
If it's a boxing match, he may as well take it. It's not like he is going to lose. That's a lot of money he'd be making to clown a big mouth.

Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
Exactly. How many times is he going to be offered that money for such an easy nights work. If Dana is seriously offering this kind of money I think this might actually happen.Impractical Poster wrote:Nevermind... Looks like he offered both guys $25 mil each and Floyd half the PPV. Absolutely! He could also lay heavy money down on himself for a KO. Of course, it would be a disaster is Conor caught him cold. But, that's an extremely slim chance. But, it's a chance none the less.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Boxing, Floyd should do it.Impractical Poster wrote:Boxing or MMA?PBPALBG wrote:Dana White makes Floyd an offer on The Herd show, 25 mil and half PPV each for a mcgregor fight

UFC president Dana White offered Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor $25 million each plus a split of the pay-per-view profits to fight in a boxing match, but it’s clear the 49-0 retired boxer isn’t interested in that financial arrangement.
Earlier this week, Mayweather said he would take $100 million guaranteed plus $15 million paid to McGregor to put together the mega-fight crossing over between boxing and mixed martial arts.
White’s counter offer clearly didn’t impress Mayweather, who spoke to TMZ just hours after the UFC president appeared on “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd.
“He’s a (expletive) comedian,” Mayweather said about the $25 million offer. “Look at that watch I bought. Do you know how much that costs? Look it up.”
The watch Mayweather was flashing in the video was a Hublot LaFerrari, which can range in price from around $250,000 to around $350,000.
Obviously, Mayweather pointing at his quarter-of-a-million-dollar watch is just his way of politely declining White’s offer for equal money between him and McGregor for the proposed superfight.
The chances of putting together a fight between Mayweather and McGregor has always a long shot, but there’s no doubt the initial conversation has at least started.
Whether or not the two sides can come to any sort of a real financial arrangement remains to be seen.

Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
The problem is Floyd needs to be earning more. Just for his own idea of who he is. He needs to be seen as the man. I think 25m each with a 50/50 split is a great price, but Floyd needs 35-15 on the cash and 65-35 on the split. It's an ego thing.Impractical Poster wrote:Floyd already scoffed at it...TheDarkDestroyer wrote:Exactly. How many times is he going to be offered that money for such an easy nights work. They tell us MMA is taking over boxing yet they can only offer $25 million for Floyd to fight the biggest PPV star the UFC has ever had. Embarrassing.

1) Are desperate for a boxer to be involved and
2) Can only offer him money for a regular nights work

Great point!! I dont see FLoyd facing McGregor for less than $100 million. His ego is just to big to allow him to do that.ttornado wrote:That's less than he got for Berto.TheDarkDestroyer wrote:

Dana knows he wont take it & is making a phony offer for future leverage.

Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
So what would be the projected financials of such a promotion ?
Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
There's not 100 Million to be made here on this fight. Floyd will wind up taking the fight I imagine. He's just wanting a little more, or at least more than McGregor.
Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer

Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
It's a fair offer. Easy win and probably over $100m, you'd expect the ppv revenue to hit over 150m.
Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
Dana White made a great point yesterday questioning why Floyd thinks that he's the A-side of the negotiation. He pointed to the fact that Floyd/Berto only did 300K buys and Conor's last 2 were both well over a million. This fight NEVER gets made
Floyd's done everyone, wrap it up. There's not a matchup available to justify paying him 100m, his minimum to return to the ring. GGG? Maybe. Canelo? Maybe. Conor? Maybe. That's all he has to choose from and none of those will happen. Move on.

Re: Dana white makes Floyd an offer
Why would Dana be involved at all? Floyd would want to promote evry aspect of it.
