Seriously, you can't really believe that?

Just to clarify, you think that Chris Eubank Jr vs Renold Quinlan is worth £13 on it's own? Bearing in mind, the undercard is free to watch on ITV 4. You're not paying for the undercard, just the main event match. You think one fight, this one fight, is worth £13 on it's own?

And not only that, you think anybody who questions whether it's worth the money, is only doing so because they are fanboys of Hearn or Warren?

I think in life people follow standard opinions brought by different outlets.. Boxing in the U.K. Is very much based on Hearn and Warren.. We as a culture follow we are sheep. We gauge opinion by watching TV or the press. The fight alone should be free to air.. My brother is boxing that night in Belfast and I will be there. I will however still pay for this PPV because I believe the more competition in the market the better the end product.. Boxing needs more TV

I voted no. I'm not buying it. I wouldn't pay for it if it only cost 12p.

For three reasons.

1) I don't consider it a PPV fight / card.
2) ITV is a freeview channel. I object to them just deciding to charge extra for their sports coverage. It's greed.
3) After the Eubanks divved everybody about in the lead up to the GGG fight, and then made stupid comments about towels, I really don't feel like paying to see their fights on any channel.

I appreciate I am being somewhat idealistic, but we keep saying PPV only exists whilst their are mugs that'll pay for it. We've already let Sky get a stronghold now, and there's always going to be casuals that are willing to pay for any fight that Sky tell them is worth the money, but ITV are new to this. There's still an (admittedly unlikely) chance that if this fails, they'll stop trying to make stuff PPV.

Though I know taking a stance of not paying for ITV is unlikely to discourage them, I'm willing to try at this early stage.

By paying for a single fight that you cove admitted is not value, the only long term thing you are investing in is being shafted for any type of fight.

I have my own red lines that I don't cross and it is that the headline fight should be a fight that couldn't be put together without the extra finances ie genuine superfights where both people have put themselves in a position to demand large purses.

Eubank jnr has not done that
