cant hear him talk for more than 4 minutes....not much personality, he trains in usa and lives in usa for like 5 years and still talks like he has been there for 1. is it so hard to learn english, one of the most easiest languages to learn.

He's come a long way since his first interview that I heard where I didn't understand one word but I agree with you, he's not where you think he would be. If he worked on his English then he would be so much more marketable worldwide. He's really missing out because his opportunity for endorsements is now.

His broken English is part of his charm imo. This video had over 100,000 views in the first 24 hours when I last saw it. He's getting more popular it seems.

English is one of the easiest languages to learn to a basic level, but one of the hardest to master. Many people in America, Australia and even England who only speak English aren't masters of the language. Gennady's English has room for improvement, for sure, but it's really not as bad as some make it out to be.

living/training in usa for like 4 years + and still needing a translator, thats just poor. he doesnt have to talk like shakespeare and no it isnt ahrd to master, comparing to japanese, chinese, but at least he shouldnt need a translator and speak a normal englsih you understand, not all those short sentences he uses. he wants to live in LA, wants to become a multi millionere in USA, but doesnt want to learn the language, come on.

don't know why there is disrespect in here. His English was OK seems like a humble man. As for me I hate trash talk and big heads. Quite refreshing to see him talk.

Petty people will find petty things. Yea he seems genuinely humble. He's very good for the sport. True fighter with good values. None of the entitlement and diva behaviour we've been graced with of late. I hope he gets the exposure he deserves.

At least GGG has made a good attempt at learning to speak English, unlike some others like Canelo. I think if you are going to compete regularly in a country, you should make an attempt to learn the language.

He has learned the language. Much better than Chavez, Duran, etc...Much better than James toney.

How many languages do you speak? I never heard Rigo, Lara, Ortiz, Canelo, or Povetkin make serious attempts to speak English.

I like his broken English. Without it you wouldn't get some of the unintentionally funny stuff he comes out with.

"Rosado is good boy"
"You want show, you want big drama show? Call me."
"Who is number one? Bring him to me. I show you."

His INGLISH is okish and I think the way he's speaking it makes him more likeable. At least he's speaking 3 languages and he's not a brain-washed ingnorant like those cawksuckers who think that inglish is the only language to speak. Fighters like Canelo and Chavez Jr. don't even speak inglish, nor Lara or Rigo. :box:

GGG is cool dude. :OhYes:
