Yeah, it's a fvcking shame. I was perfectly happy with just keeping BN and binning Sky Sports cos their international coverage was pathetic.

Shame their production values are so utter shite. Smith with his godawful growling completely unable to read a fight, Smith brothers complete bores, and that new air headed studio presenter giving away the result of the first & best fight of the night before they showed it, what a numpty.

Complete joke. Smith saw the hate for Halling and used it as an opportunity to get himself back in commentary. He's an absolute tosser. Ruins fights with his commentary. Then you have the Smiths who are tedious to watch and listen to.

I'm sure they all enjoyed the nice week out in NYC.

Embarrassing. Halling was crap, but the idea should have been to replace him with a legitimate commentator, not for Smith to insert himself back into that position. How many other heads of sport on Sky decide they are going to do the commentary?

They litrally had zero to do with that. Your giving them credit for doing the bare minimum. A Brit in matchoom stable in a unification......of course they should be showing it, what do you pay your subscription for?

When they started doing that on Box Office events that was the point where I cancelled and committed to watching all sky boxing by using other means

Sky were lucky to get a good fight
But it doesn't justify their prices, their PR drivel, the AWFUL team.

I was thinking the same rio, degale is a matchroom fighter. Credit for getting frampton but i just hope smith isnt the commentator "i remember tyson done the same against lou savarese" wtf is that clown goin on about? Tyson had rocked lou and carried on hittin him when john coyle jumped in between them,he didnt throw a punch after the bell and coyle didnt take it flush in the face. Smith is an idiot,im sick of him. Paulie maliggnagi should replace him

Murdoch should be the focus of your minds, not the sky boxing team who do try and give us what we want.

I dont mind any middle-of-the road commentators they have now they have binned off Watt & Haling - as they coloured the action way to much and the latter would come out with preposterous statements.

"Nobody, but nobody predicted Callum Smith would beat this teak tough Frenchman in a single round !!" - then you'd look at twitter and literally everyone was posting up their Smith vs Mohoumadi betting slips that he'd do him in a round.

To be fair I think all broadcasters are going to big up the names they have appearing on their platform. allegedly presenters and commentators aren't going to start suggesting Saunders has ballooned in weight, looks dreadful and remains dismally inactive. I certainly doubt we're going to see much from ITV suggesting Eubank's next opponent is a joke.

Ultimately I think the Sky package is pretty good, and certainly over the last few months is the best deal you're going to get. They're not all big fights, but from Brook Golovkin, Joshua Klitschko, DeGale Jack, Frampton Santa Cruz II, Kovalev Ward, Crolla Linares II and so on they are providing some decent output.

How complicated was it to get the android boxes set up?

I'm sick of paying Virgin 83 quid a month.

Can set Kodi up easily on pc/mac/android tv etc easily by following videos on you tube.

I use a provider via Kodi that I pay £17 for 3 months of high quality streams. I can also use an on demand service they provide that allows me to view all events after they have been aired at my leisure. (ie... miss a ppv then it will be available on demand the next morning)

Its not perfect but saves crazy amounts of money over a year.

It's their largest package, with all the channels, plus TIVO box.

Thing is, I don't even watch most of the channels.

I'm paying them about that and that's SINCE I've cancelled my Sky Sports. Was going to have it back on for Frampton but I'm getting used to paying that and not nearly £120!! Not sure what to do to be honest.
