as I stated in a thread last week, O'Brien is facing Felix Trinidad in a #1 Contender bout to see who will face the CPU champ in week 11.

Golovkin must choose another opponent.

after his performances vs Hagler and Ketchel I believe Terry Norris can win a world title but theres been so much distraction due to him owning the suite at the mgm grand and I feel that its time to shift that focus on winning a world title, so Norris will be vacating his room and moving into a log cabin somewhere in the bush where no one can disturb his training.

he would like to challenge Sugar Ray Leonard. if it can't be made I will find a replacement cpu

Walker and Bivins will fight anyone that challenges them and if not I will match them up with cpu opponents.

If Norris is vacating his room it only seems fair that Greb gets first crack at filling the vacancy.

Walker should fight bivins. Winner can have their pick of any GBP oponnent they wish in week 11. Golovkin vs Trinidad then.

lol get your glasses on Buzz, I stated pretty clearly that the reason O'brien couldn't fight Golovkin is that he's fighting Trinidad to see who will fight for the CPU title in Week 11 so that makes Trinidad unavailable aswell, please try again.

Mickey Walker will fight Golovkin if you're having trouble finding an opponent

I quoted you just so you'd get a notification. Terry Norris is vacating his MGM Grand Cup, and that nice room is available. Greb laid down a challenge to Norris prior to his vacating the title. So Greb damn well better be considered to fill the vacancy. He's ranked #18...he's already made the challenge. He's eligible on every level. I don't want any guff on this

Unfortunately, "guff" as you perceive it - is what is going to happen. Greb has been considered for the vacancy, however he is not "eligible on every level" - as you so put it because he does not have an agreed bout for this week.

The MGM vacancy will be sanctioned to the ONLY all-managed fight this week;
HYACINTHUSTURNIPSEED VS BOXBUZZ
EMILE GRIFFITH VS BERNARD HOPKINS

We fell that this is the best option at the present time. However, if you were to defeat a Managed opponent this week - we could make Mr Greb mando for the MGM next week.

Hopkins is Top 15...therefore ineligible for the MGM Grand Cup according to your own rules.

"MUST DEFEND THE MGM GRAND CUP AGAINST A FIGHTER RANKED 16 OR BELOW IN THE OFFICIAL RANKINGS."

I fully intended on beating a managed fighter this week for that particular title, but you're blatantly screwing me over here...and seeing as how I don't take kindly to being screwed over, and seeing as how you're the guy doing it, and seeing as how I need to beat a managed fighter this week according to you.

Why don't you put Jack Dempsey NP in the ring with me you son of a bitch!!!!!! See how you enjoy that ass kicking! You could've simply given Greb his deserved title shot, but instead you wanted to play games with me...Now Greb is gonna have to take it on you...and for good measure. I'm gonna beat the sh*t out of Monzon again next week too.

You could've been completely ignored for a while, but instead you chose to invoke the wrath of Greb. A decision you will regret dearly!!!!

The only way to calm my fury is to give me the MGM Grand Cup I rightfully deserve. Which...for the safety of your own fighters I'd highly recommend.

Greb simply wanted to live the high life for a few weeks. No big deal, and you've told him he's not good enough for a stay in the MGM Grand? YOU WILL SUFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Certainly, however when the situation of a title is vacant it's always a little different. Griffith and Hopkins were already signed, they were a ready-made bout ready-to-go...
What leverage did Greb have? He didn't even have a fight agreed.
gilgamesh wrote:I fully intended on beating a managed fighter this week for that particular title
If you do get an all-managed fight, you might have some say as to the MGM room. However as it stands your fightless and too late. If you win against a Managed opponent, I would be very willing to grant you the MGM fight for next week.
This week however, the fight is sanctioned.
gilgamesh wrote:Why don't you put Jack Dempsey NP in the ring with me
Irish Dempsey is a former World Champion. He is a fighter of premier quality (despite being a 3rd round pick).
You trying to badger him for a bout with the number one draft pick, speaks volumes about you and your attitude.
Dempsey has a fight this week anyway and we don't renege.
