Joshua-Klitschko, will history repeat itself?

Post by Enlightened-One »

George Foreman and Wladimir Klitschko were both 24 years old when they initially captured the world heavyweight title.

When Wladimir Klitschko challenges Anthony Joshua for the WBA, IBF & IBO heavyweight titles, he’ll be 41 years old, only a year younger than George Foreman when he challenged Evander Holyfield for the undisputed heavyweight crown in 1991.

Anthony Joshua will also be one year younger than Evander Holyfield when he faced George Foreman.

The Joshua-Klitschko bout will be staged ten days after the 26th anniversary of the Holyfield-Foreman fight.

The parallels are quite remarkable, but will history repeat itself?

Thoughts? :-?

So you don't think that Joshua-Klitschko could be a highly-entertaining and competitive bout that could possibly go the distance, with the veteran eventually proving capable of subsequently regaining a portion of the heavyweight title, much akin to the Holyfield-Foreman situation?
