He makes it so hard to root for him. I backed him with the whole McGregor fiasco, McGregor was acting like a dick and he took it very well and played it perfectly. But then his behaviour since then has been shithouse. I don't know why he believes that getting away with a draw over Wonderboy means he doesn't deserve a rematch because 'I nearly knocked and choked him out in the fourth' it's like he bets against himself on having fans. Hell if the UFC hated him so much they wouldn't have put him on 205 so he could piggyback McGregord buys and therefor PPV money.

Basically he's got a very skewed view of life; a victim mentality. Who knows, it may make him a better fighter, but it's also douchey as anything.

Anybody hear the news about Brett Rogers? Apparently homeless and has three of four counts of sexual misconduct against men. Talk about a rapid fall from the spotlight...

Glory 37 on tonight. I have not really watched much kickboxing, but figured I'd start giving it a go. Saw some interviews with Mauro Ranallo and an ex Glory champion talking about it... has me interested. The way they made it sound, Glory is the best kickboxing organization in the world. Two championship titles on the line tonight.

I read the headlines on this earlier. Too bad. I was rooting for him to win the Strikeforce HW tournament some years back. It's a hard fall for sure.

The return of the gangster from the mean streets of West Lynn! Ward/Daley should be really violent.

Should be an entertaining co-main and main event. I can't remember seeing Ward fight, but I saw a little bio on him. He looks like a pretty wild dude. Maybe not the brightest, but a true blue fighter.

170 is going to be a good card. Compos/Anderson was a nice fight, nice start to the night!

This fight feels like an early UFC throwback fight...and not in a good way. Geez.

Beautiful flying knee KO from Daley. One of the best knockouts I've seen in some time.

SCARY knockout. I'm a huge Semtex fan, but I could've done without the Tito homage...

That being said, any respect I lost for him doing that I gained back for him during the post interview. He also called out Rory Mac, which would be a good fight though I think Rory is too well rounded for him.

Shocked Daley won. I've always considered him overrated and Ward seemed to be getting the better of him.

The Ralek fight was awful, hopefully we never see him again. Bit of an shady character too, lots of monetary complaints from both customers and competitors about those Metamoris competitions he runs.

It's so weird seeing Tito as the "good" guy. It just doesn't doesn't fit him since he's such a giant douche.

I have to be in a very low percentile that likes Tito and Chael. For such an intelligent guy, sonnen has to be the dumbest top fighter ever.

I've always liked Chael, but never really liked Tito. Chael is a showman, Tito is a real life douche.

Fight went exactly how I figured it would though. I am glad Tito got to go out how he wanted; few fighters ever get to really do that.

Edit: and I agree about Chael. His fight IQ is so low he should be fighting at WMMA 135 :OhYes:

Tito has his limitations, especially at this age, but the last fornicating thing you want to do is invite him on top of you! The guy had at least four 10-7 or 10-8 rounds & a 10-9 round out of 7 against one of the goat and lost twice! God knows what kind of medication it took for him to fight so intelligently in the filho rematch.

I always felt that when Sonnen speaks it's worth listening. The guy generally hits the nail on the head and gives great insight. He's a quitter though that's for sure.

In his defence that isn't completely his fault though. He has no power in his punches on top. Compare that to someone like Weidman or even Tito who can hurt you from your guard it has to make a big difference to masking openings that you leave. Not that his sub defence was that good anyway but I think his lack of power made it look worse relatively compared to other guys with a similar style. I expect if the grappling match goes ahead with Jones it'll be over in a couple of minutes.

That was some KO from Daley.

Hope they make the Rory fight. Paul can beat him no doubt.

I've grown to like Tito. Chael has been hit or miss with me. I understand that he's a showman, but some of the stuff he talked about prefight was a bit over the edge. To me, it looked like he didn't take training as serious as he should have for this fight.

Yeah it definitely looked like he didn't train hard for this fight. And Tito looked like a heavyweight in there!
