Gyms in america

Are they a lot more open than the British ones,
I am sure I was listening to someone like Gallagher saying in some gyms you got pro fighters n champions n In the same gym at same time you get the local Looney hammering the heavy bag franticallyfrantically am not sure which gym he was referring too was suprised by it

I see pros training alongside kids and loony's.

Probably not the best answer, but the true one is: all gyms are different. There are some high quality invite only gyms, but these days the bulk of monthly dues and such comes from your rando's who are in to pop the bag try to skip rope for a couple minutes.

There aren't too many gyms can afford to turn the loonies money down I wouldnt imagine

Not so much champions but I remember training alongside the likes of darren hamilton, larry ekundayo and choi (won't attempt his last name) I used to think i was doing alright and looked ok with technique then i'd watch them guys and think what a prat i must look like.

All very supportive mind, especially Choi who after spending 3 hours just stretching would then come over and spend time with me on the bags giving good advice. top bloke.
