I look forward to the future of boxing and seeing how thing pan out with the current crop we have. The truth alot of so called boxing fans are simply impatient little twats and some of the biggest effing crybabies I've ever seen.
There's no doubt there are some issues present with the current state of boxing, but alot of people overexagerate and will simply never be pleased because they have a standard set for the sport that will never be reached and never has been.
Lol, you obviously have no understanding of whom the past best were. There have always been fights that didn't happen, but there weren't 8 titles and, most importantly, there were a lot more 'best'.
In the past traveling wasn't as easy as it is nowadays, there was no internet, so fame was a lot slower as well, especially in different continents and so on and on and on. So the chance of two top contenders meeting was simply a lot smaller. On top of that, there are so many weightclasses and belts and continental championships and each country as well nowadays, basically everybody is a champion.
