Best of the best and a fight lined up immediately made me think Pacquiao.

Pacquiao will surely make more than the Horn fight, chance to win a world title at another weight, bigger scalp and against a fighter they may see as a soft touch.

Have just read that it's being reported in Kazakhstan that a deal has been signed for a unification fight later in the year to tie in with expo 2017 which is between June and sept...

Hopefully that's true

Maybe the government got involved and offered some extra $$$ to make it happen?

That would suggest either Golovkin or Canelo, the biggest names/best fighters at 160, who both have fights scheduled. He also said he'd have to fight him in his home country - Canelo in Mexico is more likely than Golovkin in Kazakhstan, although I wouldn't put it past Saunders to not know where Golovkin is actually from. Either way, Canelo in Mexico is my optimistic guess.

"Best of the best" = Gold medal winner ;)
"Already has work on" = Working on TV this weekend (working for WOWOW covering the Miura/Roman fight)
Home country = Saunders talking garbage, it'll be in Macau on the Zou Shiming card >_>
Possibly, but again, without wanting to be disrespectful to Saunders, that all sounds a bit elaborate for him - I'm sticking with GGG in Monaco.

We now can say that Saunders is fighting GGG in Kazakhstan within Expo-2017 that takes place in June in Astana. Expo organizer confirmed the ongoing talks.

From a leisure centre in Paisley Scotland to Astana against GGG.

Be a good occasion actually. Jacobs is a dangerous guy to overlook though.

Seems like one account on twitter mentioned it and everyone jumped on the story, including the Kazakh media!

With a big kazakh crowd behind GGG as well as the clear physical advantages he has Saunders would be in mortal danger.

I would love to see BJS fight David Lemieux. Its a good test Lemieux beaten by GGG TKO 8th Round saying that he is scheduled for March 3rd against Curtis Stevens .Good warm up fight for BJS.

WOW that changes everything. BJS will not be able to have Khurtsidze, which will no doubt be a difficult fight and then take on GGG in June. He will surely vacate. GGG in Astana still can happen but probably for fewer cash.

Doubt Saunders will vacate before a GGG fight,

Saunders only value to GGG is his belt. Without it that fight will never happen.

The purse bid is interesting let's wait and see.
