Season is shaping up great so far.

Post by p4p1 »

Just wanted to say I'm enjoying this season immensely and the idea to have two weight classes competing together and a third fighter has been a great idea. Every manager now seems to have a good shot of having multiple champions, which is adding a lot of enjoyment IMO and pretty much every title fight is now a toss up. My first season was a HW season and all managed fighters had to have a rating of 12 or under which did a great job of evening the playing ground. This has done the same thing IMO but has improved on it slightly due to being able to have all the big names competing. So job well done to the comishes and who ever else helped come up with this idea.

:D

Glad to hear that your enjoying it Mr P4p1. And I hope that you continue having fun with the remaining three quarters of the season, good luck with it (except when you fight my boys).

Oh, and congratulations on your Prizefighter triumph. You will receive your IBO title shot in Week 11.

The 3rd fighter option was my idea.
Having the lower weight class was an idea which was shared by Mr Fist & Mr Gilgamesh (if I can remember correctly).

Really? I don't even quite remember presenting an idea, but that doesn't mean I didn't. I get high an awful lot

if your having a good time....just be sure to sign up to fight your local GBP fighter...early and often.

Don't take 10 weeks to say yes.....like MeanMo Bentvenuti when Hopkins asked him for a fight.

Stop with the slippin' and slidin' and runnin' from your hydin's.

I said yes to a fight with Hopkins to spice things up a little. After what has felt like a few nondescript weeks for me I want a major week in Week 11. All big fights. Sometimes ya just gotta roll the dice.

Now that's a duck.....first of all.....the thread says you have Duran not Leonard.

And second of all....that's only two fighters any way you slice it.

I said all three, you came back with only 2...

Request denied on account of your lallygagging, buffoonery, and obfuscation.

Cerdan is otherwise engaged in a title shot this week.
