Well he couldn't really find too many more unworthy opponents than Wawrzyk, but it'll be interesting to see 'em pull it off anyway.

The winner of that fight will be a Top 10 ranked Heavyweight. Wilder doesn't fight Top 10 Heavyweights.

Wilder's people frantically searching the 64th page of the boxrec heavyweight rankings for a highly qualified opponent to test out his injured various body parts.

Fight Mansour, he will bring it as long as it lasts and check that chin.

He's too dangerous for Wilder. They'll find someone with less of a pulse than that.

I guess Wawrzyk was too much of a risk anyway. I'm not surprised he's going to fight another bum, once again on very short notice, just like in pretty much all his recent fights.
If I was Wilder I would fight Charles Martin, if he doesn't consider that as too much of a risk.

Breazeale is scheduled to fight on the undercard, maybe they can just move him to the main event.

If not, what is Ye Olde Tony Thompson up to?

Definitely. Wawryzk was an absolute no hoper. Washington at least LOOKS big and dangerous, but he's still tailor made for Wilder because he's slow as all hell and he gets tired after about 4 or 5 rounds.

Derric Rossy won his last fight and doesn't look like he does PEDs

Seriously though, are they going to start testing these guys for 2 months before they are allowed to sign the contract to fight Wilder?

Washington's mngment will not sell his perfect record for ~200,000 usd. They'll wait for next Joshua's voluntary and get 750,000, like Breazele got.

For 200,000, it's Takam or Wach :brick:

Wilder doesn't dare that, he just acts like he does, but even when Briggs offered him to fight for free they didn't accept. On top of that, Briggs is suppost to fight someone else.

Whoever the replacement is, lets all make sure we totally discredit him before he steps in the ring to make sure Wilder gets no credit.

If so, I don't think it's particularly worse than Wawrzyk. About the same level of opponent. Either way, it's Wilder's worst opponent in a couple of years, which says a lot.

Wilder deserves no credit. He's yet to fight a Top 10 opponent after 4 title defenses. You wanna give him credit, give him credit. Where I stand a Boxer has to actually accomplish something as a "Champion" to get credit. Wilder is a joke.

I can remember Hughie Fury outboxed him easely, but didn't KO him when he was 20 years old, so I can imagine Wilder will have a lot of problems against him in Wilder his prime.

If I was Wilder I would probably ask Charles Martin, Charles is still ranked very very high at this moment in boxrec and it could help Wilder to achieve the boxrec heavyweight rank 1 if I'm not mistaken. In my opinion Charles is everything but a big risk.

If Martin is ranked high on Boxrec that just shows what a joke their ranking system is. Hasn't he been inactive for a year?
