Absolute Boxer of The Decade is Thurman

Post by bnovelist »

How many times do you see a fighter of his caliber fight TWO CONSECUTIVE TOSS UP 50/50 fights in row? This is absolutely historical what Keith

Thurman is doing this day and age. Porter...now Garcia BOTH are toss up fights! I can't believe what Thurman is doing! :oo If Thurman and quote

me on this one! If Thurman wins in decisive fashion over Garcia he will be King of 147lbs and Fighter of The Decade!

He's never accomplished being Fighter of the Year so the idea that he'll be fighter of the decade seems a longshot at best. Beating Garcia will be impressive if he absolutely dominates him, but I get the feeling he won't.

Either way he won't be Fighter of the Decade. The kinda guys that accomplish fighter of the decade honors are a lot better than Thurman.

I'm really glad I have this idiot blocked, too bad I still have to read the thread title. The site should allow for more people to be blocked. Lord knows I need the extra space.

That's the thing they called me nutcase when I called Floyd the best in a long time and he would surpass Roy Jones Jr. I ranted back in 2001 and

everybody called me crazy! I ranted also about Canelo right after the Gomez fight now he's the #1 attraction in boxing. Dude give the spell time

Thurman ain't a Fighter of the Decade type talent. If he was he would've dominated and stopped Porter, and if he was that kinda talent he wouldn't be seen as 50/50 against Danny Garcia.

If Garcia would've fought Mayweather or Pacquiao in their primes he would've been a massive underdog.

You are talking about a guy that turned down a fight with contender Errol Spence for a belt, demanding $10 million. Then, takes a fight with Collazo, who had just had his ass handed to him by the great Amir Khan.

Would you want to fight Errol Spence at this stage? Are you crazy? Let the fight build up that damn 10million was a lie and you know it. One Time is

King of 147 and Fighter of The Decade.

This is obviously trolling dude. Thurman has done nothing to gain this kinda enthusiasm from anybody.

The only 2 A level fighters on his whole resume, and whether or not they're truly A level is debatable. It takes a lot more than that to earn Fighter of the Decade status.

Carl Frampton beat 2 A level fighters last year alone, I don't see you hanging from his nuts.

There were no boxing forums in 2001. You were ranting in public about a boxer, and can't figure out why they called you crazy?

There were boxing chat rooms back in 2001. Everybody called me a nutcase when I told them Floyd would surpass Roy Jones Jr. I explained to them

its because Floyd has a granite chin and turtle like defense but has RJJ's offense! They weren't buying now look at Floyd!

Heck I'd fight Errol before Thurman! Why? Thurman takes his time to really analyze you and everything you bring to the table like Floyd does. Thurman

is a physical and spiritual BEAST! IF THURMAN CALLS YOU OUT HE'S ALREADY SEEN SOMETHING!

yea, if Thurman can beat Garcia he will be the new king of the welters, however he won't be fighter of the decade until he fights and beats Spence jr. :TU:

Danny would NOT have been a massive underdog to Pac... He would probably lose that one, but Pacquiao didn't want to fight a puncher like Danny -- and he still doesn't.. Pac has been knocked out 3 times.. Pac wouldn't fight Thurman to save his life.. Floyd didn't want to fight Danny Garcia and he sure as HELL doesn't want to fight Thurman, Brook, or Spence.. Spence wiped out Aligieri a guy Khan and Pacquiao lacked the firepower to get rid of.. Floyd didn't even want to fight Khan, who is a guy I think he could beat pretty easily.. Everybody Floyd fought had a lot of holes in their game. Let's put it that way.

I think Floyd won all his fights... Unlike some who think Castillo, De La Hoya, Maidana, and Pacquiao beat him... But he never impressed me as the best ever.

I don't think Floyd's the best ever either. Pac avoided Danny and Thurman now is understandable since he's basically on a semi-retirement tour, and his best years are behind him. He wouldn't have avoided Thurman or Garcia in the past. He fought Cotto who was in the position they're in now, and in my opinion was more dangerous than either of them.

The same Thurman that got hurt badly by a body shot from Luis Collazo who is not known as a particularly good bodypuncher whereas Cotto was one of the best body punchers of his time?
