Also, some people act like Mayweather is the best ever, because he never lost, but there have been boxers with over 80 wins before their first draw/lose. It's not like he deserved the money he actually earned.
I don't know much about Ward, in fact his Kovalev fight is his only fight I ever saw and he looked like a typical hypejob scam to me.
Love for Klitschko but hate for Mayweather or Ward

Which you can attribute to the fact his late father Wladimir Rondanovich being military as he was the Soviet Air Force.Freedom2013 wrote:Klitschko, unlike Ward and Mayweather, always tried to KO his opponents, instead of just running out the clock.

And Klitschko doesn't have the big ego like Ward and Mayweather. He's always been a good sport and an honorable man.

I'm not sure he'll survive 5 rounds against Joshua either.Unbiased Expert wrote:Klitschko has no balls against giant boxers . All he did was clinch against one dimensional small bums and no hopers without any brain or defence .gilgamesh wrote:Until AprilRoyRJ wrote:AJ only beats BUMS, period.
Deontay? Please.
We don't have a decent heavyweight divison like before, with Tyson, Lenox and hollyfield.![]()
Heavyweight division is dying, all fighters are boring in this division. They focus on power not in speed, footwork and technique.
Joshua will murder this clown. Klitschko would not survive 5 rounds against prime Lewis
Re: Love for Klitschko but hate for Mayweather or Ward
I can´t stand Mayweather personality (but there still are some worse than him) but his boxing is at least fun to watch, especially some defensive tricks. Ward and Klitschko are fouling b!tches. Maybe a strong words but i dont have respect for nonstop holding, headbutting, and fighting against Jean Marc Mormeck. I cannot remember some watchable Klitschko and Ward fights. Mayweather against Maidana was pretty entertaining match
Re: Love for Klitschko but hate for Mayweather or Ward
Except for his last fight, all of Wlad Klitschko's losses were very entertaining.. That was before Steward taught him to grab as an inside defense.. When Wlad learned how to grab he was near unbeatable until he got old.. But that wouldn't be the case if more referees called holding fouls and took more points..
I don't want see a jabbing contest intermixed with a wrestling match.. I want to see a boxing match.. If you want your boxer to win consistently he needs to learn infighting skills and an inside defense -- whether he's tall or short for his weight class.. You do need to learn how to grab, because if you get nailed like Mayweather did in the Mosley fight you have to recover. But just to clinch over and over again puts everyone to sleep. If a boxer clinches more than 3 times in a round you need to start taking points because holding is a foul.
Referees shouldn't break a 100 cliches in a fight.. Order the boxers to "LET GO OF HIM, NO HOLDING" and if they don't let go, stop the fight and warn them. Next time they don't stop holding on command, take a point from the wrestler. When a referee continually yells, "STOP PUNCHING.. break gentlemen.. no punching.. step back.. STEP BACK.. BOX!!" He's allowing the clincher to reset from the outside every single time ... and the more aggressive fighter is at a disadvantage. And there's no fight happening.
Another thing I hate is pushing, shoving, elbowing, shouldering, and head butting a la Henry Armstrong.. That may be exciting for some fans, but it's not allowed under the Queensberry rules.. I like to see a clean boxing match, fought hard for 3 minutes a round, fought on the inside and outside. That's something Salvador Sanchez gave you whether he was fighting a short guy like Wilfredo Gomez or a much taller guy like Pat Ford. He outfought Gomez on the inside and outboxed Ford from the outside. He fought within the rules and beat you at your own game regardless of who was refereeing.

I have to give wlad credit for going straight into this fight. He could have fought Briggs or oquendo for the wba belt. That being said, I can't wait to see him on the canvas.

I hope he ends up there too, but depending on which Wlad shows up, it could be a very competitive bout. Long shot, but it could happen. Joshua is still pretty inexperienced, and hasn't been in a real tough fight yet.

Klitschko may still be so angry about losing his belts to the better man, even though he probably doesn't see it that way, that he may take it all out on JoshuaBadhusker wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I have to give wlad credit for going straight into this fight.
