Interesting development. In terms of TV its got to be ITV? Reports of ITV's return to boxing was first publicized last February. It was reported ITV where considering linking up with an American promoter, putting on 20 fight dates per year and launching their own PPV channel. Haye himself today has been urging people to get behind Eubank Jr. and to buy the PPV.

Alternatively just before Christmas Haye was said to be getting cozy with Frank allegedly. In an interview with Kugan about 5 weeks ago allegedly was asked about rumors of working with Haye and Haye fighting Bellew on SKY Box Office. I can't remember Franks answer word for word but I'm certain his answer was along the lines of not begrudging Haye a payday and still has plans in the works. With Hayes rants at Eddie at the Bellew press conference I can't see Haye Ringstar cosing up with Hearn and SKY.

B0xnati0n and BT Sport have a press conference on Monday to announce their plans for the next few months. Maybe Haye Rockstar will be thrown in as an unexpected surprise?

Austrian Ricky said that he'll be bringing fighters over from the US. Anyone know who's in his stable?

I have a feeling this will fizzle out but it will be interesting to watch what develops.

Haye let's not forget has tried this before. Weren't he and Adam Booth going to take over British boxing?

Haye having a world title, a couple of prospects and a TV deal made him a "promoter". Did he have a licence back then? After Setanta folded and after the feeble performance in the high profile Wlad fight, Hayemaker Promotions wasn't up to much.

Didn't Warren really put his toys out of the pram when Hayemaker promotions fought on Setanta - and end up screwing Setanta by stating that Setanta had an agreement with Sports Network - and Sports Network is not a promotional company and then went bust.

Agreed. I think with Warren's BT deal and ITV coming in, sky are now starting to be challenged. Haye will probably link up with ITV.

Seems smart to me, boxing on your side of the pond is miles better than over here. Haye is a very public and polorizing figure. Schaefer's only fighters are 5 or 6 2016 Olympians and prospects. Seems he gets the best of the deal if he gets a slice of haye/bellew. I've been saying for a while that more Americans need to fight in the UK.

To be fair they have DeGale v Jack and Frampton v Santa Cruz II this month alone. Both ultra-competitive and very high standard. Likewise Ward Kovalev last year.

Agree totally, they have been improving their offerings of late but rather than subscribing, the cheaper option is a day pass on NOW TV. I watch no other sports as I do not have the time so take January as an example - 2 x day passes of £6.99 in the month for Frampton and DeGale compared to £27.50 (I think that is the cost of Sky Sports).

So unlikely I will subscribe again but instead buy maybe a dozen cards and passes (if that) for £84 rather than a years subscription at £330

I know where you're coming from. The NOW TV day passes are really good if your just watching boxing.

What I would say however, if you're with SKY, it's worth keeping an eye on their offers for existing customers. Here's what I'm currently being offered for 12 months.



Eddie has started the year strong. If his 20 shows this year follow this trend I'll want to see all of them. SKY have also upped their game in terms of international fights. Heard they are showing Deontay Wilders come back fight next month then Golovkin Vs. Jacobs in March. Be prepared for SKY to show between 30 to 40 fight nights in total.

It might just work out cheaper paying £15.75 per month until the end of the year rather than buying passes at £6.99 a pop. Either way it's still better than paying the full subscription price.

Also, there is no update to Ringstar Sports website to show Hayemaker Ringstar Sports, it remains simply Ringstar Sports. There is an article on their venture, but no change to logo or site name. Maybe it is too soon and all of this is yet to come?

Has Scheafer given Haye 50% of his company Ringstar Sports, or, in addition to Scheafer having Ringstar sports, has Scheafer created a new seperate venture, i.e. an arm of Ringstar sports, to make Hayemaker Ringstar, meaning Haye has a 50% stake in the newly formed Hayemaker Ringstar, but no stake in Ringstar?
