Re: The Eubank hype train...
Eubank Jr looks a capable boxer and is good to watch but he's been a pro for over 5 years and to me he's yet to meet anybody who would have been top 10 at the time. His achievements thus far are falling well short of the hype. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for him to fight somebody decent.
Re: The Eubank hype train...
I've a fair few friends who are very casual boxing fans and they don't give a rats ass about either Eubank.
Perhaps too young for Snr and thus no gravity to tune into his son either.
Joshua they love, but Jr. is nowhere on their radar whatsoever.
I like him, quite entertaining. But I'm not losing sleep over him allowing his dad to nosedive his career.

To be fair I don't think I'd ever tire of watching that odious little tûrd getting beat up!Boxing Prospect wrote:Being watched and disliked only works until a fighter loses. The interest in seeing Broner lose dropped off massively since Maidana beat him, and when CEJ loses again the same will happen.

This. None of my mates are into this at all. The younger ones I work with who are all over the Anthony Joshua social media stuff haven't mentioned it at all yet they'll be telling me what Joshua has had for breakfast!G0mez wrote:I've a fair few friends who are very casual boxing fans and they don't give a rats ass about either Eubank.

It would also help if he'd...ya know...win some big fights.darkstar81 wrote:Whatever you think of his ability you can't deny Eubank Jr has the "X" factor. The physique, the looks, the style, the arrogance. If marketed and promoted right he could be a huge draw.

Not really relevant, but 'cooked, seasoned and fried' isn't good technique is it?
