Part 4 |

---------------

I managed to spend some time Joshua's amateur trainer, John Oliver - he was really nice, an absolute gentleman.

He went into very good detail and I think its far too much for one article. I'm not sure how many parts there will be in the end. I will try get them up as fast as I can.

I hope you enjoying reading.

The titles are pretty misleading, and some of the content a little far-fetched. Eye catching though, which is no doubt the intent.

Part one - His trainer knew the moment he walked in the first day he would become champion? I doubt it.
Part two - He smashed his trainer's hand in 100 pieces? Huge exaggeration.
Part three - Joshua resembles Cassius Clay? I'm glad it was his physique and not style. Still not true.
Part four - Dyllan Whyte cheated Joshua? Another misleading title. Apparently he lied and said he was an amateur? He was, and is not much better now. Just because Joshua lost, doesn't mean he was cheated.

I'm sure he hates Whyte for telling about Joshua's past before their fight. He was no angel.

Sorry to be so critical, just being honest. I'm not a Joshua hater either. I think right now he looks like the real deal. Too early to tell though until he really gets tested.

Whyte's move in the ams is hardly unheard of. It's still a dogs move though.

I can't help the content. I asked the questions and his former trainer answered.

Yeah, Part two I could of take then '100 peices away' but I wanted to get people to read the content. A lot of people just read the titles and not the content.

You say his physique isn't true? what are you basing this on?

Part 4. Did you catch the bit about Whyte kick boxing professionally while fighting as an amateur? He got a life ban, so they board must of thought it was cheating like his trainer did.

I've always said Joshua is the best Heavyweight prospect I've ever seen. Height, length, speed, strength, smarts, fast hands, fast feet, great balance and timing. And his size is great. He gets tremendous leverage. Luis Ortiz is real good too and the only one who could make real trouble for Joshua. I just think Joshua will beat him and everyone else.

A lot of guys aren't interested in learning how to box. They just want to overpower somebody and trash his ass to get the satisfaction of the kill and the adulation of the fans. Ali and Klitschko were never interested in punching to the body. Joshua approached Boxing as a science. Like Tunney. He wanted to be able to jab and punch tall guys like Breazeale and Martin without risking hard shots in return. But he gets everyone out so fast he doesn't get a lot of experience from each fight. So he has to make up for that by sparring more and training harder and smarter -- so he can be a well rounded fighter on defense as well as offense. I think Klitschko looks at his paltry number of amateur fights and his few pro rounds and he thinks he can take huge advantage of that... He won't be able to

Joshua's physique reminds me more of Ken Norton, not Ali. At first glance it would seem both are too muscle bound to have the flexibility and stamina to compete at a high level. I'm wrong there I guess. Ali, who won an olympic gold at light heavy, had a great physique, but was not built like Joshua is, and at Joshua's age smaller by quite a few pounds and a few inches shorter.

Yes, Whyte was kick boxing professionally while boxing as an amateur, but I don't see why you can't do both since they are different. Kind of like what McGregor is wanting to do?

A few people got quite upset and said that how can you compare their physiques? Joshua is muscles . But the trainer wasn't comparing the NOW Joshua and he did say "when Joshua walked into the gym".

He also spoke about similarities like Joshuas desire and his desire for success, which I would like to think Ali also had early on.

I had to remove the Whyte article. I got a phone call from Dillian himself asking me to remove the article as the facts in the article were wrong. I also got emails from his legal team. Bit surprised as Whyte has a bad reputation but he was nice and friendly on the phone, was a very bad line at times so the points and communication was a bit over the place. My wife even hanged up on first time thinking it was a junk call she almost did it twice until I took the phone off her

He claimed he was never banned by the ABA, let alone for life. I contacted the ABA but they would give me an answer on individual cases.
