Ketchel will have another (hopefully) easy week against Johnny the Stranger (who?).
Griffith would still rather fight for the MGM but would be willing to fight anyone for the Light Middle if necessary.

Ketchel is still interested in this Johhny the Stranger character, but if he doesn't actually exist he'll settle for Koichi Wajima.

13 Charles Ezzard United States Middleweight 1329.5

Since Mayweather looks like he might be stripped, I'll offer him a shot again at a shot at the belt.
Charles will take the fight.

Oscar wants a crack at the LtMiddleweight title any takers????

Otherwise he wants Rocky Mattioli

Marvin Hagler offers Norris or Moore the shot.
Maybe a unification VS Sugar ray Leonard?

Langford VS Chris Eubank

Leonard is interested in a unification fight if it's possible.

Seeing as how it'd be the 3rd defense for both Leonard and Hagler, and I think it'd be perfectly reasonable to allow that fight to be a unification since one way or another the winner WILL have made his 3rd defense of his initial belt with a victory here, which as I understand it is the point where unification become acceptable.

I think the ruling was you needed to defend 3 times, then after that you can unify....I think.....

Whenever people get the time or are bored, check out my ideas for the lower 3 belts as far as restrictions and guidelines....

Yeah but only one of the 2 is going to still have a belt after this one, and the winner will have made his 3rd defense in the process of winning this bout. I think it's reasonable considering that nobody seems to be in any hurry to fight either Hagler or Leonard anyway.

But I've called out both guys!

Still, unification should take priority, I think.

That's true. I forgot you called out both guys, and your guys are definitely deserving of title shots. I guess it's one for the commish to decide.

I believe that Floyd has already agreed to fight a CPU opponent.
You might not honour your dealings, but at our company we do.

Had you any inclination to fight "Monster" Monzon or "Goodbye" Jackson - you could have called them during all those days I was offline.

There's no point calling them out now, they have signed for fights & Floyd has been stripped for unseeming conduct while holding a belt.

Nahh....Floyd has been stripped because it gives people something to feel important about......That's what GBP does....gives officials the chance to exercise their authority. And that's why we are loved the world over....making other people feel empowered.

Nope.
Both fighters will have to win one last time this week before unification is possible.

IF Buzz elects to fight an opponent ranked 16-30, I think he should be allowed to retain the title. There has never been exact guidelines on the lower three belts, thus I made a topic with some ideas how to govern those belts.

We'll have a cheesy slice of Philly Jack then. That should keep the sanctioning bodies happy.....and of course a big stack of cash to boot.

Buzz has already been stripped.

And I deliberately left the 3 minor titles without regulations to make them more accessible to low ranked fighters. Even guys who are having poor seasons need something to fight for.
