Surely you are not trying to claim Mundine will weigh in at 73 kg?

That's how low he would need to come in at for there to be 10 kg difference and you only have to look at his pre-fight training pics to see that won't be the case.

Its called fighting weight Mundine will be at a big disadvantage in this fight stop talking sh.t boss
I'll continue to offer my opinion as I see fit :OhYes:

10 kg difference on the scales means Mundine would have to weigh in at 73 kg. Won't happen.

At a guess , Mundine will probably weigh 78-79 ,, I do think though his best fighting weight is around super middle , definetly not cruiser . Hope he still has that one big fight in him ... I like Mundine , forget the shite publicity talk , he done tremendously well especielly early in his carreer , he's also tested himself at various weights , wher ass Green just winged and winged , made escuses and refused to fight unless it was Danny weight .

CPL I wouldn't bother he probably believes Danny's BS that he doesn't gain any weight after weighing in.

I anticipate Mundine will weigh around 79-80 and Green obviously as close to 83 as he can muster.

So a difference of about 3 or 4 kg on the scales.

As for Green then putting on 6 or 7 kg in 24 hours

"Green will put on up to two kilograms after Thursday's weigh-in and box at around 85kg, while expecting Mundine to be around 81kg".

Greens a big boy he's grew a lot over the last 10 years , i think he will try and stay at around 83-84 , he could easily put more on , but i doubt he will he would'nt carry any more power but would certainly be slower at a higher weight , which i doubt he will want to do .

Mundine , well for the life of me i never really understood why he ever dropped down from 76 in the first place , but i think 79-80 would be his tops , he would'nt want to lose his speed ,, and more weight would'nt help his punching power anyway ..

But Jeez has'nt he caused a stir , Even the prime minister getting in on the topic , Personaly i respect him for it , i was off the opinion it was all shite out of his mouth to sell tickets , , but to be honest i'm becoming more convinced he means what he says , and if he truly believes it , good on him for standing by his convictions ,, we might not all agree , but he has the right to take the stand .

He'll put on more than 2kgs in my opinion. He will be drying out a little to make 83kg, so after he rehydrates, carb loads and the likes it will be closer to 5kgs. That's the good thing about 24hr weigh ins. It's not hard to put it on after all the fluids he'll have to consume before a 10rounder. But as I said that's just my opinion.

Do you honestly think there will be 10 kg difference between their weights when they step in the ring like some are claiming?

I agree. It is more about Green and Mundine coming in at their best weight than the most they can stack on.

As you said, Green can't afford to be too heavy or it plays into Mundine's hands. You can't hurt what you aren't quick enough to hit.

Besides that, where's the incentive for Green to boil down to 83 kg from a much higher weight when he has had plenty of time to do it gradually and comfortably, and can come in fresh and sharp?

Anyway, I think it's a waste of time speculating on the weights any more, I'm putting my cue into the rack until they get on the scales tomorrow :TU:

Definitely not. Green is too big and will knock him out at some stage. But it's a funny game as we all know.

Just watched the press conference ,, Green said he's on weight , looks strong , and healthy , definetly not boiled too much off , doubt he will put to much on he does'nt need too

Choc says he has'nt weighed himself for a few days but guesses he's at 78 - 80 kilo ,, He does'nt look guant , drawn and sickly at this weight ,, but Green is defo the bigger man naturaly .

can you do your google searches and hidden surveillance work to find out if this is true?

you seem to uncover everything about this mr.green character so please inform us of your detective efforts cause it should be made public.

and one concern I have is whether mr.green recycles his rubbish at home too. find out for us ok, lol.

I have heard theres 25 -30,000 tickets been sold , which completly blows my prediction of 5-10000 out of the water .. It really has suprised me . IF ITS TRUE ,, Reason i say this , is this morning i got on tiketex punched in the tickets for every price range from $ 1000 down ,, asked for 6 YES 6 ,, not a single ticket, where they have the odd one left over but 6 , and guess what ,, they were available in EVERY PRICE RANGE sat together , except the most expensive ones at ringside

Now on the night you will not see them empty seats people will just jump in them , when they see them empty , but i doubt very much if the cameras will pan the whole stadium , because at 30 000 it should look full ,,

Cab someone going count have a head count

I heard there's a cardboard company madly producing cardboard cutouts of people that they are going to place on the seats to make it look like more people are there. The big challenge is how they are going to get them to stand up during the national anthem. Perhaps they will bring them out after the anthem has been played like Mundine?

If you want to continue arguing against other people's attendance predictions, including the media, the onus is on you to make a prediction of your own. Put up or shut up.

Here are your choice options, and I have purposefully avoided making it a formal poll so as the predictions offered are not anonymous :

35,000 - 40,000 - Grant
30,000 - 35,000 - Lairdy
25,000 - 30,000 - bogan whisperer, convict, Like a Boss
20,000 - 25,000 - DA GOOSE
15,000 - 20,000 - Beltane
10,000 - 15,000 - Clive Patrick Lyons
5,000 - 10,000 - coneye

(have the predictions received and will update as new predictions are made)

Start your post below stating one of the options above, and elaborate briefly on why you have chosen that option if you wish.

Time to put up or shut up.
