Anyone expecting a difference of 10 kg will be very disappointed.

It won't be 10kg difference but it will be bigger than that margin. Green will put on a fair bit of weight come fight time where Mundine won't put on too much. Just my opinion.

It will be more by fight time, agreed. But you read all the claims for 10 kg and more, just like I did, and it was never going to be the case :TU:

Nobody actually thought it would be 10kg at the weigh in. Fight night different story.

You are maintaining then that I day after the difference between their weights is 3.3 kg it will suddenly blow out to 10 kg

Do you even watch boxing? JCCjr and others rehydrate 20-25lb after weigh in. Green even used that as the reason for the Cameron 195 catchweight.

You are claiming Green will put on 6.7 kg in one day.

That is just under 15 pounds or alternatively just over 1 stone in weight, in one day.

Green did not look drained at all at the weigh in, and you are claiming he will put on over 8% of his body weight by tomorrow night

Do you have any idea how much food a person needs to eat to put on 15 pounds in one day, and then not only retain it, find it useful when you are faced with a 10 x 3 minute round fight that night?

Possibly he himself said that Shane Camerone would gain 7kg after their weigh in.

And they were 3lbs apart at the weigh in not 3kg(roughly 8lb). It may not be 10kg but it will be significant.

The only way fighters can gain massive amounts of useful weight in a 24 hour period is if they emaciate themselves. Otherwise the body simply will not retain large amounts of useful weight in such a short period of time.

Green did not look emaciated today. Or are you going to claim he did just to prolong your flawed argument?

Just as most suspected, the 10kg exaggeration was just that, an exaggeration.

Not much difference between them girthwise. The only reason Green weighs more is because he is a bit taller.

Surely you are kudding about Mundine "putting on weight" before the fight. He's put on 9 kilos in 90-odd days... He might put on another 100g before the fight!

Green weighed 86.4kg against Kane Watts - I wouldn't be surprised if he's pretty similar to that weigh in the ring against Mundine, so I could see a 6kg difference on fight night. Not 10.
