Man City want to win the cup and will play a first team. They beat West Ham 5 nil in the last round at West Ham.
I think you're right that Allardyce will put out a weakened team and that City will win. As a West Ham fan I remember him putting kids out to play Forest in a 3rd rd tie and we got stuffed 5-0. When there's a relegation battle to be fought I don't think Allardyce cares much for the distraction and inconvenience of a cup competition.

Couple of things this week I think:

Zlaticanin to be knocked down 5/4.

Garcia Frampton double

I called this one almost perfectly if I do say so myself, other than underestimating the loudness of the traveling Irish fans. From my little writeup a few days ago: "For the Frampton/LSC rematch this Saturday- Frampton's hands were impressive in the first fight, although I think LSC was starting to catch on to his speed and style in the latter half of the fight. So I expect LSC to do better this time for an even more competitive fight that ends in a closer decision or a draw. The fight is also in Las Vegas this time where there will be more vocal LSC supporters in the crowd instead of Irish fans like in NYC, a point that LSC made after the fight and which he may have had a point if that influenced the judges". And for those who haven't watch yet [spoiler] LSC beat Frampton by majority decision 115-113 x 2 and 114-114. Sorry to any patriotic Irish fans rooting for your guy.

So another big boxing night for me! I hit on Takashi Miura at -125 over Miguel Roman to win $100.00 and cashed on all these in the LSC/Frampton fight:

Leo Santa Cruz (+150) vs Carl Frampton $100.00 for $150.00
Leo Santa Cruz +3½ points (-115) $86.25 for $75.00
Leo Santa Cruz wins by majority decision (+2000) $5.00 for $100.00
Fight ruled a draw by any of 3 judges (+360) $15.00 for $54.00
Live In-Play: Leo Santa Cruz (+112 ) vs Carl Frampton ~$184.80 for ~$206.98
minus only $45.00 for various draw and split decision props that lost=

Total is $640.98 net for the night!

Atm AJ is around 2/5 to beat Wlad, who is at 2/1. I think I'll place a bet on Wlad simply for the value, do people expect that price to get even better by fight night when all the masses who will be tuning in stick their bets on?

Value play on the PBC main event on FS1 tomorrow. Welterweight prospect Sammy Vasquez is coming off his first loss against late replacement Felix Diaz. He's now fighting his original opponent in that most recent bout on Thursday, Luis Collazo, also a southpaw like Diaz and Vasquez himself. And an opponent who is a former world champion whose losses came against much bigger names like Thurman, Berto, Mosley and Hatton than Vasquez has faced.

Luis Collazo (+290) vs Sammy Vasquez $50.00 for $145.00
Luis Collazo (+340) vs Sammy Vasquez $50.00 for $170.00

Newcastle cost me €1100 tonight on a 8 fold. Leeds scored late on to put me up in all 8 and I went to try cash out but PP wouldn't let me because Fulham - Burton was in injury time so betting was suspended. Daft fvckin rule! Then Clark and their keeper have a brain fart between them to gift QPR a goal. A losing bet hasn't hurt in a while. The joys.

With the weight difference even at the weigh-ins today (82.9kg to 79.6kg) and Mundine suffering so many knockdowns in his recent fights, I'm making a rare chalky play on a moderately heavy favorite and gambling that the bigger Green stops Mundine before the middle of the 9th in this Australian grudge re-match.

Danny Green (-260) vs Anthony Mundine $260.00 for $100.00
Danny Green/Anthony Mundine Under 8½ (+160) $50.00 for $80.00

I cant see AJ's price in the win market shortening from 2/5, the man in the street punter does NOT back 2/5. In recent comparable big fights the outsider has shortened and shortened on the day, Groves (Groves Froch II) and Pac (Pac Mayweather).

Punters will look to Round Betting if they want to get with AJ on the day.

I think and hope it ends earlier than that. I'll put a couple quid on Green round 1 but think rounds 1-3 and 4-6 are worth betting @ 8's and 11/2 respectively.

Looked at this - the only thing is Collazzo is getting old and has been very inactive. Haven't seen Vasquez fight.

Collazo was dreadful when he fought Khan. Offered nothing and wasn't there a lot of rumours about him having drink problems outside of the ring?

I'm honestly not as familiar with Collazo as many other boxers, but this is something of a fade on Vasquez after his last fight. Although he is claiming now that he had a calf injury and horrible complications from kidney stones and didn't want to pull out because he had just purchased a house and couldn't afford to lose a payday. Plus I am tempted by the odds. Hopefully it's competitive enough in the early going or back and forth at some point so that live betting lines are somewhat close to even and that can help me double down or buy out wholly or partially on Collazo if he looks like a bad bet.
