Just rewatching Calzaghe Lacy
Nipped over to Lacy's wiki page and noticed his last fight was a loss to Tony Oakey.
Surprised to read this I nipped over to Tony's boxrec page and noticed it wasn't recorded on either fighters record.
Anyone know why? The few reports I could find didn't mention anything about it being unlicensed. Seems odd.

It wasn't recorded because it was held as a semi-pro event. There are quite a few of these events in the South West each year, often featuring pro-level boxers as headliners. It's a way for part-time pros to earn a bit of money without risking a loss on their official records.

Seemed a strange omission. The couple of reports didn't mention that but I assumed that was the case. Can't believe lacy couldn't get better fights than something like this.
