Announcing fights before they're signed. I thought this was supposed to be a new era for this particular promotional outfit ?

Jazza Dickens v Tommy Ward announced for this show now. Cracker of a fight. Wazza not going to risk Warrington yet is he think about it? They'll call make good dough given how Josh sells tickets. Forget about Selby though he would pick him apart. So excited for Dickens v Ward mind!

Who wins Dickens/Ward? I don't know much about them but I'm intrigued.

A real 50/50 fight. I can imagine it will divide opinion.
It looks a distance fight and I will probably back Dickens to be a bit sharper to win a close one.

It was originally titled Josh Warrington vs. Marco McCullough and changed when the Martinez fight was announced.

Well, at least that's what I think!

Tommy Ward is a lovely boxer and a better all-rounder than brother Martin (who pushed Jazza close on the cards - closer than the fight suggested really but still).

I like Tommy to pull an upset here.

Josh Leather vs Phil Sutcliffe is another cracking match. Already got my tickets for this bill.

Rights I didn't realise they'd stacked the Leeds card as well, I hope Tyrone Nurse fights someone proper! I think for proper boxing fans the Leeds and Manchester cards are class.

Not sure why the chap just can't make a new thread so that people don't have to trawl through pages of irrelevant stuff. You click on Warrington vs Martinez and the posts make no sense at all.

I like this card, the Dickens Ward fight is a genuine 50/50 for me. Leather Sutcliffe another excellent fight as well.

Not sure what Nurse's opponent will be like, he's defending his British title three weeks before against Joe Hughes. Would like to see Reece Cartwright added to this bill too.

Thought he wasn't fighting Maxi Hughes? Or am I thinking of someone else?
But anyway, he shouldn't be fighting anyone below Catterall's level now.

Ward is Thomas Patrick Ward, brother of Martin Ward, who narrowly lost to Jazza Dickens, for the same belt.

Agree on Nurse, I suspect a foreign bloke will be brought over, could be wrong though.

Nurse and maxi r in complety different divisions. Maxi is fighting Martin j ward for British super feather title. Nurse is a super welter

Thought I was wrong like, just couldn't think who Maxi was fighting and didn't know what division he was in.

Crap fight imo but typical of Warrington to take. Martinez is shot coming off a draw. Them beatings off Frampton, quigg and Santa Cruz have took its toll. There is obviously a reason he has never stepped up and ducked Selby. Expect more of the same in 2017

Coming of 3 consecutive losses and 2 KOs on championship level I guess they decided Martinez was ripe for Warrington to pick. And with his name recognition it should be an easy fight to sell to clueless football fans. I wonder though how shot Kiko really is. Because if he is half alive he will still pose a threat. Lets face it, Josh Warrington is essentially a poor mans Scott Quigg, and he isnt beating prime Kiko.

It's obvious Warrington is looking to milk as much money out of his mug fans as he can. He'll have to be forced into the ring at gunpoint to fight anyone reasonable.
