He just fought a relative novice , with no facilities , or money behind him , coaches with little or no experience at top level , a guy who spars local kids and ameteurs , BUT still did well dispite losing every round

Totally agree. I don't think Jr can improve much from where he is, and he's a long way technically from the top guys.

I think he can pace a fight much better - if the Eubank of now fought BJS again then (time travel I know, but) he'd of stopped him late imo.

i think if bjs paced himself better he would of won it easier , eubank is still throwing wild air shots , like in there first fight

Price just simply isn't a fighting man. Just hasn't got the fight for it, yes he was gassed but seen plenty of boxers gassed still going for it, he just can't seem to summon that extra drive in himself. Good luck in retirement, i'm sure sky will give him a job being a pundit on the Joshua cards.

Takes a special type of person to box, I don't have it in me, nor does Price sadly. Hasn't got the mental edge to block out the tiredness. Coldwell was saying in the corner that he will tire 1st so he must be fit in training, Coldwell looked fuming with him.

I've never liked the term "casual " , but it can only be the occasional viewer that is taken in with the crap they come out with .

People say one of the problems with boxing is too many belts. True enough, but there are pros and cons. Unification fights an obvious one.

That said, we have seemed to be in a reasonable place with four recognised world titles for some time now. Nobody in boxing seriously regards the IBO as anything different from, say, the WBU or WBF titles from years back. Even Ricky Hatton, a long-term WBU world champion, openly acknowledged he became a world champion when he won the IBF title. If Eubank states publicly that he believes he has attained a similar standing that the likes of Golovkin currently hold by beating Renold Quinlan then so be it, but nobody believes him, and perhaps more pertinently, nobody believes that he himself believes it.

He's right with some of the things he says; he is a name, and whilst this PPV was a joke a rematch with Saunders makes perfect sense. The latter cannot continue being so poorly promoted in such poor fights as his last couple of outings. That said, if he keeps up Quinlan style defences of his prize whilst utterly pricing himself out of meaningful contests, he will descend from curiosity to laughing stock.

What the hell happened to Eubank's face there? How the hell did it get so red? He was only fighting a novice he brought in to easily beat? No way should his face be that red.
