Apologies for the "bad" language in corners really infuriate me. Why don't they just start with a warning/disclaimer at the start of the show? Also, how many delicate flowers out there have ever been traumatised by hearing a corner man swearing? Very few, if any, I'd guess.

To be fair, Adam Smith does come across as a very sensitive soul. He is probably apologising to himself about any offence.

I find swearing offensive and truly appreciate the apologies proffered by the commentary team.

In a world where the gay workshy lesser bearded umbongo bird of West new Guinea has more rights than the plain working man, hearing swear words at a boxing match is just a step too far.

Bring back the 70's when you could smoke in the cinema and women didn't box or play rugby.

Yeah, I never understood that. Especially when they do it after the watershed.

Or on PPV really. If we've paid £17 for a boxing card, we know what boxing is. We're a fan enough of it to pay for it. We're not going to be offended by language. We know there's a risk we'll hear some.

Agree mate, it's getting worse recently, with people like Malignaggi, Froch etc seemingly having a battle over who can talk the most and who knows the most about boxing. Sometimes we just need to hear the action and the corners rather than CONSTANT talking by the commentary team.

Sky usually skip the first six round for an ad, after that they always show corner work.. unless there is a knockdown in the first few rounds, they show replays.
