I logged on to Stubhub at 8am and it had a countdown timer. It hit zero at midday and I was immediately placed in a queue at number 15535. I got down to 2003 when they sold out

For my sins and to be a complete casual, I do however have tickets at face value for Bellew v Haye. Although facevalue does not actually exist. Mandatory booking fee and charges added £22.50 to a £200 ticket so it is not possible to buy a ticket at its face value and THAT should be looked into. When I rang to complain, they told me it was to cover additional costs and I explained there is no such thing, there is only 'costs'.

100% agree. Booking fees should be illegal or at least looked at closely to monitor fairness, it's absolute robbery. Even my local arts venue has started charging them - I recently went to the box office in person and bought 2 tickets for a stand up comedian (not particularly well known or popular, so no demand at all for tickets). The tickets were only £12.50 each, but the venue charged another £3.50 booking fee per ticket! So essentially I got charged £7 for the venue printing out the tickets and giving them straight to me. It apparently would have been the same fee if I'd requested them to be posted or emailed, so I'd like to see a proper breakdown of where the booking fees actually go...

These 10% booking fees are another joke, not limited to boxing again. What difference does I take in processing a booking of £50 or £5000? It's all just clicks.

If it was a tax then I could understand as it's progressive but this isn't as far as I'm aware

Contact a boxer on the show they would be more than happy to sell you a ticket.. The more they sell the extra money they are earning

They always are.. Tickets will be kept aside.. At least couple of hundred each

The petition only states concerts, im sure if it was successfull then boxing events would slip through the net there.

Anyone set up a petition for booking fees?
Even if they were just included in the price it would be less infuriating than the way they are charged just now.
