I am growing increasingly frustrated about the lack of answers and the vagueness about the allegedly / BT Sport deal. As a subscriber to both, I want to answer a few questions.

1. WHEN does the deal hold effect.... It IS NOW early 2017, is it really going to be April / May. When will I be able to save my allegedly subscription and still get allegedly via the BT sports package which I own.

2. I wish Frank / Francis / George can be 100% crystal clear about the deal and what this means to subscribers. Will there be a allegedly Box Office which means allegedly subscribers get certain fights for free - but BT subscribers have to pay as a PPV.

I wish IFL will do a Q and A with the allegedly guys so I can know if I am forking out for 2 subsciptions for nothing. What I want is as much boxing as possible on TV (on Sky), I don't go through illeagal streams and I don't want an online service. I want to know though the cheapest way of doing this (legally). I am a sucker for PPV, but if they are going to cost about £60 each but free to BN subscribers, I'd rather pay my £12 a month (and hope there are lots of PPVs per year).

It starts on March 1 according to the press release that went out about the Canelo vs Chavez Jnr fight being on BT and allegedly.

There will be nothing on allegedly that you don't get as part of the BT deal. If you are a BT pack subscriber you get everything someone who just subscribes to allegedly gets. If you just subscribe to allegedly you get the exact same boxing as a BT customer, just none of the other BT channels.

If and when they do PPV it will be on top. A one off event that is nothing to do with either subscription (in the same way Sky PPV is the same price whether you have Sky Sports or not).

That's my understanding of it anyway.

Who gets these extra shows? Customers of both, as BN is part of the subscription to BT or just BN customers as it's specific to them only..

Who gets these extra shows? Customers of both, as BN is part of the subscription to BT or just BN customers as it's specific to them only..

The confusion comes from the different types of BT Sport customers.

Some BT Sport customers just get BT Sport 1 as part of their broadband deal.

Some BT Sport customers, or full 'BT Sport pack' customers, pay extra to get BT Sport 2, 3 and ESPN.

As of March 1 (though the date keeps changing) 'BT Sport pack' customers get allegedly as part of their subscription, in the same way they get 2,3 and ESPN.

In terms of shows there will be a max of 20 shows a year on BT Sport 1 (which are also shown on allegedly)

The additional shows are on allegedly - which only people with the allegedly channel will get to see. BT Sport pack subscribers will have the channel as part of their package though so can watch them there.

Hope that makes sense.. It's a bit complicated!

I'm pretty certain that this won't happen, as I don't think any allegedly PPV would be included in the subscription.

But even if it was I'd still cancel allegedly. You don't know how many there will be and how much they will cost. You're saving £120 a year by cancelling allegedly and assuming the PPVs are less than £20 that's six a year you'd have to buy before you spent the amount you are saving by cancelling

I stand corrected, I was told by someone who spoke to George warren that he said it was over the line and they've announced it a bit to early but this was a few weeks ago so obviously it's changed

It's certainly worth considering. Weigh up what you currently pay for your broadband, line rental and B0xnati0n. I pay £18.99 for 17mb broadband and line rental with SKY plus a further £12.00 for B0xnati0n. Works out at £30.99 per month. I'd be £2.75 per month better off switching to BT and getting BT Sports into the bargain than I am just now. I would of course be losing B0xnati0n in HD. If I add the BT Sports pack in HD then I'm £2.25 per month worse off than I am just now.

I'm gonna go with Plusnet when I move house, their 17MB broadband is £20pm including line rental with the option to add BT Sport on Sky (30 day minimum term) for a tenner a month, I think HD was an extra £2.49.

I'd avoid BT like the plague mate! I know Plusnet are owned by them but at least they don't have offshore call centres, with BT I had the worst experience imaginable, that bad they took me out of contract after 8 months and said I was free to go elsewhere.
