Yes, dissapointed in Sky's recent output - let not forget if it wasn't for the Power vs Ward pull out we wouldn't have had Mosley vs Vargas.

The annoying aspect of this is that it looks like they can easily afford/obtain the rights to these high profile bouts - but seem to have them on standby.

because they haven't got a fornicating clue? I mean, I don't really expect it to be on PPV or live or anything, but at least show it the next day, after all, it is a heavyweight world title fight.

i've already cancelled eurosport. sky sports, you could be next. this is not good enough.

so apart from solid domestic stuff, we just get a couple of Japanese fights a year, another Hopkins PPV standoff, Hatton whe he can decide who he's fighting, and probably Taylor-Winkly?

i know the US schedule has been relatively quiet, but these guys should be making an effort to bring us the best boxing.

If this fight isn't shown live or next day delayed tape by sky sports I will consider cancelling my subscription.

This is too big a fight to miss out on. We barely got Vargas - Mosely a week late, if this fight is ignored I will be fuming!!

I have emailed Sky Sports asking them to clarify their position with regards to this fight.

I am usually far too lazy/preoccupied to bother doing something like that but Toney is The Man and I expect to see big heavyweight fights like this for my monthly outlay.

Kevin Anderson's fight is mildly interesting and I will watch it, but there is only one fight that really interests me this weekend.

Can you just cancel individual channels these days? There are a load of pay channels that I don't view - perhaps I will cut down these and get this fight + when (if) it airs on the UK.

Eurosport has been as good as Sky Sports in recent weeks, so I will be keeping that. The live stuff on a Tuesday is improving and they are showing some decent delayed stuff.

point is, I shouldn't have to. I'm forced to shell out bigtime for the sports channels, when the only reason I want it is boxing, so I should at least get to see heavyweight world title fights for fucks sake. I mean, it's not like I'm expecting to watch obscure pan-asian strawweight title fights week in week out after all.

In an ideal world no, and it would be great to have it on Sky but I doubt it will happen. How many viewers could Sky realistically pull for Toney v Rahman? Outside of hardcore fans like ourselves not too many. To average Joe football fan with Sky Sports who on earth are Toney/Rahman?

Well to a British audience Rahman is the guy who knocked Lennox Lewis out so he has some recognition and if they wanted to get viewers all they'd have to do is show a quick ad with Toney running his mouth spliced with Rahman knocking out Lewis to get peoples interest.
