Boxing on now
If anyone wants to watch the York hall show it's on facebook now. Go on the page Dove box promotions. Tom Little vs Tom Dallas is the main fight

There's a sad inevitability about watching Tom Dallas these days.

Re: Boxing on now
Was good to have it on live yesterday and so had a watch as was in for once. Something I don't understand though is did they advertise at all that they would be showing it? I saw nothing until reading the topic here. As a promoter wouldn't you take a few seconds just to sign up on some of these forums and tell people? I understand you might not want to affect ticket sales but surely if you put it on here at about 6 o'clock you'd up your views and if the shows good get interest in your next one?

Re: Boxing on now
There was a short space of time when i thought Dallas was the dark horse of the HW division, when Maloney had him and Price and David was getting all the plaudits, i thought Tom was gonna have a lot to say on the scene and might derail Price, then Frank had to put him in with Price sooner than he would've liked after someone pulled out(was it McDermott?) and Price KOd him early and Dallas has never recover really
Re: Boxing on now
That's what maloney does with his heavyweights though. Just another with a padded record fighting bums and then came off the rails. Dallas was always so stiff, just no relaxation in his stance or his shoulders.handsofstone wrote:There was a short space of time when i thought Dallas was the dark horse of the HW division, when Maloney had him and Price and David was getting all the plaudits, i thought Tom was gonna have a lot to say on the scene and might derail Price, then Frank had to put him in with Price sooner than he would've liked after someone pulled out(was it McDermott?) and Price KOd him early and Dallas has never recover really

Re: Boxing on now
It's typical of the UK small show PROMOTERS. They seem to have no real idea about how to get their product out to a wider audience and just seem to rely on local ticket sellers to fund their shows. I applaud them for filming it and putting a stream up, but agree totally it's poor if they don't then PROMOTE the thing, the clue's in the job title.smiling assassin wrote:Agree 100% mate. Re: Boxing on now
Anyone got a link to to the Dallas/Little fight please? Had a search for it but no joy.
Being from the same town always followed Dallas career and gone to watch him live a few times at local venues but I can't believe he is still going. He does not even make a decent journeyman now...i'm not sure what even upcoming heavies can learn from beating him as he is not even what you would call a good scalp.

Re: Boxing on now
He seems to be getting KO'd more or less every fight now, often early. Is it a case of really poor punch resistance now or is he just taking a dive and picking up paydays?
If it's his punch resistance that's now so low then he really should be stopping fighting.

Re: Boxing on now
His confidence went after Price, it arguably went after Zack Page. Throw in injuries, losing punch resistance and losing interest and he really shouldn't be fighting anymore. Tom Little is pretty poor if we are being honest.TheCobra wrote:He seems to be getting KO'd more or less every fight now, often early. It makes me smile a little when I note that Pricey knocking out Dallas back in the day, was enough to catapult him into Horse`s British P4P list...

Re: Boxing on now
Good point that mate regarding Zack Page. Most people in attendance thought Zack did more than enough to get that win and regardless of his fight with Price after that was the beginning of the end...lillywhite14 wrote:His confidence went after Price, it arguably went after Zack Page.
